Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite was the best experience of our two and a half week vacation in Italy and France. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, the accommodations charming yet had everything we needed, and the breakfasts were fabulous. (Do you love fresh croissants with locally made jams and espresso? We do!) We cannot say enough about this wonderful place and the people who run it.

Hmmm, I can't think of a thing, other than the walk from the train with large bags was a bit bumpy...however, I don't think the hosts can do anything about the centuries-old cobbled streets! ;-)

Wow. Stayed at Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite in Mid September and it was really quite extraordinary. Estelle's attention to detail provided an amazing room (ground floor in our case) that was incredibly large, quiet, and luxurious as a French time capsule. Location is astounding. Just outside what can be considered the hustle & bustle of this great small town, it's a relatively short walk to everywhere. Take time to chat with Arnaud, he loves it. If you make your reservation with enough time to spare see if he can get you a reservation at Caves Madeleine the Michelin Star restaurant owned by Estelle and her Husband Marcel. You definately with not be sorry. What can we say? Everything was fantastic! Thank you Again!

If you arrive by train it is a bit of a walk with luggage from the station. Ask if they can get you a taxi upon arrival as taxis are not normally available or waiting at the Train Station. As we came by train, I do not know where guests park their autos.

Everything. Beautiful property - looks exactly like the photos! Huge and well-appointed guest rooms with all of the amenities, delicious breakfast and 24hr access to tea/coffee. Welcoming and helpful staff, but still a very private feeling. Wonderful wines available for purchase. On a quiet street but still close to train station and everything else in Beaune. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to others!

Feel like I have discovered a gem I don't want many people to know about, but I own a praise to the excellent team behind Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite. 5 rooms only, we stayed in room 3 which is spacious and split-level. The bed and the shower are so good, I could only leave the room at midday the next day. The decoration is a wonderful mix of retro and period furniture and exquisite decorative pieces. Burgundian honesty bar: a cupboard full of wonderful wines you can pick up for your room or enjoy in the patio. Breakfast with all the French delights and fruit salad which seemed to have been hand-selected with not a rotten berry in sight. The hotel also has a very popular restaurant with Green Star from Michelin which is a short walk away. They can take care of the reservation. I wouldn't be staying anywhere else in Beaune.

This bed and breakfast was the french countryside stay of my dreams! The apartment was absolutely fabulous. It is in the city center but is about 4 blocks away from the main square. It is close to everything and somehow feels like you are tucked away in a serene smaller village. Gorgeous courtyard, well secured and felt very safe. The apartment had a beautiful modern bathroom, large bed (which was SO comfortable) and a spacious living room. The breakfast spread was delightful and set in the most charming shared space. Such a perk! The hosts were incredibly kind and extremely helpful. They were easy to communicate with via Booking.com and by text as we had a delay arriving into town. I dreamt of staying in a beautiful french apartment and this place far exceeded my wildest expectations. I would 100% return. Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful!

We loved the uniqueness of this place. The reception/breakfast room is an incredibly charming location to have a nice breakfast every morning. Our room, perhaps more fitting to call it an apartment, was spacious, clean, with nice touches in each space that made us feel at home. The beds were comfortable with high quality bedding. The employees are attentive and cheerful. They seem to be proud of this little gem, and rightfully so.

It is difficult to find anything to complain about.

Arnaud is an amazing host. Property is beautiful and authentic. Very central and accessible; breakfast beautiful. Absolutely wonderful place. I will stay here again (in fact I have - one week later). Thank you Arnaud and team.

If you have a large SUV you will need to park on street which is not a problem as it is safe and spaces were available when visiting. During the summer this may present a challenge?

Our stay here was great. From the owner meeting us upon arrival, taking our heavy bag up to our room and then parking our car. Other staff were just as attentive. Wonderful breakfast in the B&Bs reception area, served by another gracious staff. Location was convenient to everything. We can not say enough about how Wonderful our stay here was. The whole property was so beautiful.Our room especially was super clean and comfortable! I felt at home in our room! Arnaud was an amazing host! He was super knowledgeable of the area and helped make our stay special! I can’t wait to stay here again!

Great location - everything was within easy walking distance. Very spacious rooms - loved having a living area and separate bedroom. Breakfast was a plus and Estelle and Arnaud were very welcoming and helpful.

The bedroom was upstairs from the bathroom - only negative! But it was manageable. However I may have chosen another room had I realized there were two sets of stairs
