The hotel staff were very efficient, personable and friendly. They offered good advice and were, as usual in France, the hotel's best asset. The hotel was easy to reach by car and the parking secure and easy to access - not always the case in mid-town hotels. It was well situated with plenty of restaurants and close to sites of interest.

The only problem was access to the bathroom. The bathroom was compact but the door opened inwards, instead of into the bedroom so that a complicated manoevre was needed in order to access the toilet. This involved a step into the shower so that the door could be closed then a step across in front of the sink to access the bijou WC. There is nothing the hotel can do about this other than rehang the door so that it opens the other way

Fantastic location right in middle of lots of restaurants, I had a huge room on 3rd floor which was quiet with a very comfy bed. I slept very well! There is a lovely boulangerie less than a minutes walk away as I didn't do the breakfast there but it's walking distance to pretty much everything. A bargain for the price. I'd happily stay there again.

Not the best shower. Not powerful at all but that's my only problem. And they have coffee pods but it didnt state if one was decaff or not.

The receptionist when I first checked in was not very helpful when the card reader didn’t work, didn’t offer an alternate machine to try, I paid cash then rang my bank, they said it was a hotel issue. No other problem’s anywhere else with my card. But she just stared at me, I was tired after a long drive and a little reassurance or offer of help would have gone a long way

The hotel was in the center of town, within easy walking distance of stores, cafes, restaurants and sights. A buffet breakfast and secure parking were available for a fee, The room, though tight, was clean, the lighting was good, and there were plenty of electrical outlets. The bathroom, also tight, had modern fixtures, a very nice shower, and plenty of hot water. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Rooms were simple but nice and beds comfortable. Parking was so close which was great as the hotel parking wasn’t available due to overrunning works. We would stay again.

Fire alarm was set off in the night and there was no Fire Marshall or procedure. If it had been a real fire it would not have been good. There was no one properly in charge and no explanation as to what happened. The hit and cold taps are the wrong way around so the hot is the cold and vice verser.

Modern rooms great central location. Parking and good air conditioning. Great value for money.

Nowhere to hang a longer garment like a dress and very little room to put toiletries. Also the bed had some kind of zipper between the two sides of the mattress topper so as a single occupant, I couldn’t sleep in the centre and may as well have been in a single bed.

Pleasant staff. Walking distance to old town. Several restaurants close by. Room larger than average for many in France.

Older hotel which could use hand rails to go up the 2-3 stairs required to access rooms from some hallways. Also would be helpful to have rails to go up the few stairs to breakfast.

Great location near town centre with private parking. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped rooms with good airco. Superb breakfast buffet. Freezing element service included. What else could you ask for?

It would be more transparent if the parking fee (10 euro) and breakfast price (18 euro) were mentioned up front (+30%).

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years as it is just right for a stop-over en route to Southern France or beyond. Its location within town is perfect - just outside the ring road but within just a few minutes walking distance from the main town centre. Parking is secured by a barrier and there is plenty of space (but note there is an additional charge). Breakfast is very tasty with freshly baked bread and croissants, fruit, yoghurts, meats, cheese, eggs, cake and pancakes as well as juice and hot drinks. The rooms are fairly functional but spacious enough, clean and comfortable.

The hotel is currently being renovated - this wasn't a problem and did not disturb us but works were taking place (summer 2023). The old family who ran the hotel for many years were no longer there which was sad.

Excellent location right in the centre of town, friendly staff, recently renovated rooms and lobby / bar etc. Comfy bed, room spotlessly clean and quiet. Great AC (it was hot in July!). I visit Beaune regularly and I'll definitely stay here again. Really good value for money.
