A great B&B near the center of Beaune, within walking distance of restaurants, wine bars, shops, and tourist sites. We arrived by car, parking is in a secure lot on premises. Audrey was a perfect host, checking if we needed anything, and providing local recommendations. A wonderful breakfast (breads, croissants, cheese, fruit, yogurt, juice, and GF items) was served in a sunroom in the back of the house. The bedroom was spacious, bed was comfortable, the linens and towels were very good quality. We would stay here again.

Lots of space, comfortable bed, large bathroom with spacious shower. Very nice kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal at home. Washer and dryer. Terrace for eating outdoors or enjoying a glass of wine. Great neighborhood with very good restaurants and boulangeries, grocery store and pharmacies. Gaële is a welcoming and gracious host.

Close to the town centre, it offers everything you may need. It's ample, cosy, spotless clean and well organised to suit your needs. Gaele, the owner, is ready to help whenever you may need. We are a family of four and 2 more friends come by for the new year's eve, we cooked, we ate, we stayed together in a wonderful apartment. Beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, the 3 bathrooms as well, the kitchen is enough for four but there's a living room with 2 big wonderful sofa plus another one that will provide all the comfort you may need to more people. You can park your car in the property and leave it there to visit the town. So, what else? Definitely recommend.

We just came back from a month in Europe and La Dormance was a major highlight. Gaele our host was exceptional. Extremely welcoming and full of knowledge we had a fantastic stay and shared some wines and antipasto on her terrace which was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was fresh local produce and plenty to eat. The apartment is located easy walking into town centre and the car parking available on site is an added bonus. Value for money and for quality of stay I would rate La Dormance and Gaele's special attention as 10 out of 10. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

The accommodation at La Dormance was superb - very clean and comfortable, excellent bed and bedding and lovely bathroom. The location is perfect for visiting Beaune, just a few hundred metres from the centre of the old town. Audrey, our host, made certain that we were comfortable and had all the information we needed - couldn't be better!

Relaxed and friendly host - rooms good size, thoughtful extras on bathrooms, beautiful bed linen and comfortable beds. Lovely sunny roof terrace and sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen area means you can self-cater too. What’s not to love?

The level of cleanliness was excellent. However, the detergent used to wash all of the linens: bedsheets, towels, etc. was scented with a very strong perfume which I personally found to be quite overpowering. A specifically odd choice for a stay in a wine-tasting region where one’s senses should be open to enjoy the subtleties of nature.

Great location just a short walk into Beaune. The house was lovely and beautifully furnished. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. An air conditioning unit in the room was very welcome too given how hot it was. There is a very well equipped shared kitchen which was great to have for keeping drinks cold and the few tasty things we bought for for our picnic the next day. Breakfast was fresh croissants, bread, fruit, yoghurt and home made preserves - all delicious. We sat out on the terrace in the morning sunshine in gorgeous surroundings. Gael is lovely and a very hospitable hostess.

Good location, close to everything, big supermarket is a few minutes walk away, secured parking in the inner yard for free. Super friendly host was meeting us upon arrival and helped with the luggage. This used to be a family house, now rebuilt to a comfy stay for travellers. There are three rooms on the 2nd floor, our room was biggest and the bathroom was very specious with two sinks. The host lives one floor down and is there to assist with any request. A nice roof terrace where you can chill with a glass of wine or have meals. Breakfast is delicious, the host bakes cakes herself and buys fresh bread and croissants in the morning. There is a fridge in the shared area and a living room. We have got a feeling as if we were staying at relative's place! The host even listed her "insider tips" restaurant and bars. We dined at 2 of them and it was excellent.

Our room was facing the road and if somebody (like me) does not sleep deep, should think of ear plugs but you know it already!

Everything about La Dormance was superb. Our host, Gaële, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the accommodation had more than all we wanted - the breakfast on the outdoor terrace, the attention to detail everywhere, the availablilty of a well appointed kitchen and fridge, a lovely seating area, and its great location within easy walking distance of the centre. La Dormance was better than most hotels I've stayed in.
