What a delightful surprise in so many ways! First of all, the facilities in this B&B, a 200-year-old renovated farmhouse, were first rate! We had a luxurious, large room with a large and very modern bath with double-sinks and a walk-in shower. The views from the room and several places in the farmhouse and terrace were across farm fields and gardens and distant hills. The hosts, Martine and Hubert, were beyond gracious, friendly, and helpful. We had access to a common room with a fridge and microwave and serving utensils - we actually were able to warm our Beaune lunch leftovers for dinner. And the breakfast was exceptional and served personally: cups of cafè to order, croissants and homemade bread and yogurt with a medley of fresh fruit, farm-fresh eggs to order, if you wish - our scrambled eggs came decorated with garden fresh, edible flowers and dill from the garden, on a plate dusted with black salt. Both Martine and Hubert spent time giving us tips about where to go and best roads to take. This is an ideal base to stay to explore the Burgundy wine region. The couple also offer a fully equipped apartment for longer term stays!

That we had to leave! We'll be back though! On this day, we were the only guests and we certainly relished the peace and quiet and felt spoiled with the attention! If La Loubertine was to be full of guests, we do not know if the experience would be quite the same, but the essentials for a great visit are all there!

I really had a nice stay. Everything was well decorated, the hosts were very friendly, the AC was on at arrival. Really nothing could be done better. The breakfast was amazing, the wine was nice (bring some cash to pay for the wine, there's no card option).

My personal preference is a thinner blanket during the summer. It might be a consideration to put a thinner blanket on the bed with an optional extra blanket. But this is not a bad thing, just a personal thing. I turned the AC a bit colder and it was fine after all.

What an absolute gem of a place in the heart of France; ran by some truly lovely people who go out of their way to ensure the guests are happy by going above & beyond. We had a fantastic night here drinking some local wine watching the sunset in the gardens, followed by an extremely comfortable sleep in a very cosy room, then a delightful French breakfast in the morning with fresh bread, croissants, fruit and eggs from the farm which was all prepared for us there & then to our own liking. There is a lot of effort gone in to the b&b and it is truly spotless with a lot of attention to detail, full of romantic French charm and warm, hospitable owners. Thank you so much again for a memorable stay!

Martine and Hubert are super nice and they offer very pleasant room. There is a nice garden for the ducks, sheeps, chickens and peacocks, which I saw they put a lot of hard work into that. Hubert is a bit limited in English but he is very gentle and open for conversation. Their breakfast is very nice and satisfying. I love the time laying in the chairs in the courtyard watching the sunset with sip of wines. And we love their car Tubi and the dog Dexie. Also, Hubert has a cellar of quality collection of wines and they have excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby.

Everything was great. We have stayed here twice now and it was as good as the first time. The room is lovely and very big, the hosts (Martine and Hubert) are lovely and so welcoming. And their house is so beautiful. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely small farmstead outside and lots of vegetables and a few animals. One of the highlights though is the breakfast, everything is so local or they make it themselves! Location is great, not too far from the main roads but far enough you can’t hear it. Can’t fault it, amazing in every way.

Lovely stop-over on our way down south. We asked for a cheese platter last minute and although it came unexpected Martine tried her best to make it happen. We had a lovely cheese dinner with a nice bottle of wine on the terrace. Also very nice breakfast and very comfortable beds.

We lost their key to the room… we still feel bad about that!

The breakfast was great, a lot of bang for your buck. The grounds were comfortable. The host was friendly and most helpful. She made recommendations for day trips that we greatly enjoyed. We had a wine tasting that was most informative. It was well worth the cost. I have to mention the room layout. Our room was well set up, spacious, everything was provided.

Very nicely decorated with modern facilities in an stylish French renovated barn. The farm animals and the cat were nice for kids to have a look at. the garden is well maintained and looks they have put a lot of thought in it. The property has also a nice big appartement. Good to know for our next visit for longer period.

Nothing, a swimming pool would add to the facilities.
