The hotel is very conveniently.located for a stop off journey when travelling to the French Alps. Reception staff very welcoming on arrival Evening meal was lovely (unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast) EV charging facilities great

No tea and coffee facilities in the room Only 1 pillow per person As we were paying for our evening meal, we were asked if we would like to settle the room bill, as it was busy in the morning. We obliged and as reception was empty, we left the key on the desk and left. I was then shouted back in from the car park to come back in and check I had paid- embarrassing and unnecessary!

The hotel is very nice. I liked the concept of locally sourced stuff. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was also very nice. The people from the hotel were very friendly and in the reception they spoke very well in English. The room was big enough for 3. And the beds were comfortable. Very nice outside area with a nice pool for warm days.

The only thing that could be improved was the cleaning of the shower. Since, probably, the water from Beaune is very hard, the shower was full with accumulated calcium.

We traveled for three weeks all over Burgundy and this was by far my favorite place to stay. I loved how the entire place was full of personality and warmth, the decor, the people and the food. Breakfast was incredible - everything homemade made locally! There were a ton of choices for breakfast, even a pancake griddle! Nowhere else was there that kind of meal. Dinner also was delicious. It was well worth eating on the premises instead of going hunting for a place to eat. One of the hosts was extremely nice and did some laundry for us! When we requested that they check that the air conditioning was on, the hotel manager came right up to the room and fixed what she could. I was still hot and she offered to bring us a fan and she followed through and did. That helped the room temperature very much and it was very kind of her to do that! Our room was very clean too! It was a bit small but it even had some personality. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Even a cleaning lady asked if she could help me with my luggage. Very kind.

This is NOT a situation unique to Greet - as I have been posting, beds in France are much much much more narrow than ours in America. A typical bed is 3/4 of our Twin size. No joke. Even putting two beds together equals not much more than a double, and NOT a Queen. These narrow beds are fine for people under 150 pounds, but if you are (as I am) much larger than that, you risk falling out of the narrow little beds. I turned over and fell right off. I just learned not to turn over.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice location and easy to get to on our travel South. Really relaxed atmosphere and we were there on a Friday with a DJ and BBQ which was nice (not a loud keep you up DJ). Beaune was a lovely little town what I saw if it from my run in the morning.

Nothing really. The pool isn’t heated but it was actually lovely and refreshing and the kids didn’t mind.

We booked late so were left with little choice of room however we had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the local organic foods and teas and the staff were very helpful and spoke good English, which is hard to find in many French hotels that we have stayed at previously. Will definitely be returning on our way to and from Italy.

It is a small hotel so little space to relax in after a long drive on the motorway. Vegetarian/vegan options are limited but available.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I also ate dinner there and was pleasantly surprised about the good quality of the food and the tasty preparation.

It seemed that my room was built for use in a wheelchair. So, the shower was open and the shower head had to be held by hand which is not necessarily a problem unless there is no curtain. It meant that the whole bathroom received a shower as well.

As an overnight hotel the location was excellent. The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Beds and room comfortable. The place was very clean. Great.

The downstairs hall where our rooms were at seemed to have a plumbing problem of some sort. Very strange smell. Not to the point that is was unacceptable. But it was definitely smelly. We stayed in the room, where you could smell it a little bit. Which was annoying for the first half hour. After that you couldn’t smell it anymore.

A great place to stopover when travelling along the French motorways, staff are always friendly and very helpful. There is a kettle in the rooms to make your own tea which is fantastic and very unusual in mainland Europe!

Our room was clean and basic which is reflected in the price but the public spaces provide plenty of room to relax and unwind

Quirky place with nice feel. Very comfortable bed and appreciated the aircon. Really nice staff, had a very nice evening meal. Great location for overnight stay just off the motorway.

Breakfast seemed a little basic. No tea coffee in the rooms - there was a kettle? May need to take mugs from dining area - not sure.

The staff is very friendly and professional. I like the “desire to be green and sustainable” The breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Close by to the motorway.

I did not think the room and especially the bathroom were very clean. The bathroom is a mess, dirty old and neglected taps. The shower does not feel safe; the water gets scorching hot!!
