Charming traditional style hotel with a fantastic restaurant and bar. Rooms we had was perfectly acceptable and decorated in a traditional French style was clean and comfortable. Service and staff were excellent and the restaurant was exceptional. Great location also as we were travelling back from Spain to The Netherlands. Also free Tesla destination charging was a real bonus.

Nothing that we did not like, perhaps the one thing was the breakfast instead of a buffet we had to order the night before as the occupancy was low, it was very tasty but would have had slightly more of given the chance. I am sure we could have had more if we asked and in more busy periods I am sure this is not an issue.

The staff was very welcoming, the renovated room w good beds and nice bathroom, the stylish modern bar & dining areas. The superb food and fine dining. Very welcoming towards dogs as well and you may even bring acwell-behaved dog to the restaurant/bar. Visited during November, so not really outdoor weather, however the garden and pool looked great. Good parking facilities. The Breakfast had many delicious options to choose between.

There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the staircase. There was a step up into the toilet room (room 214) - somewhat dangerous especially at night.

We booked a Junior Suite & it was very spacious, with a good size bedroom, a lounge, separate toilet & bathroom with very spacious shower. The restaurant was expensive, but very good.

Our suite was on the top floor reached by 3 flights of stairs. I assume, due to the age of the property, there was no lift. Our toilet was very difficult to use as it was on a raised platform above the level of the rest of the toilet floor!

Comfortable room. Windows that could open to let fresh air in. Very good restaurant on the premises, albeit expensive. Breakfast is good too, and excellent quality of fruit juice.

Personal preference - outdated hairdryer. The extractor fan in the loo is not working, and no hand wash facility where the loo is, in the room we stayed at. No body cream available, and dispensers for the soap are both in need of replacing of the pressing part.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful, incredibly friendly and made myself, my husband, our baby and our dog feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. The garden was a wonderful place for our dog to let off some steam (although note it’s not fully closed off so good recall might be needed!) and the pool was a lovely area. Breakfast was simple but good. Given some of the other reviews I was expecting the room to be a lot more dated but our junior suite was very spacious and comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The restaurant is very expensive but the food is wonderful!

Service in the restaurant was very slow - we got the sense that the more you spent (the most expensive set menu, wine pairing etc.) the more attention you received from the waiting staff. A two night stay here with breakfast and our dog cost us €700 which seems very expensive - whilst it was a nice place with lovely staff value for money doesn’t quite add up.

The room (a family suite) was huge and beautifully decorated. Bed was super comfy. We were on the 2nd floor with nice views (but no lift, important to know if you are disabled or don't like steps!). The restaurant was very good, some excellent dishes, wines were quite expensive. Breakfast was good (if you arrived in between shifts you might have lots of empty plates and little choice, but they restocked after a while and everything was yummy). Garden and pool were super nice. The staff was the absolute best. So friendly, kind and helpful. This is rare enough to point out! The hotel is very kid friendly.

The departmental road next to the hotel is really fast and I found it stressful to enter and exit the residence. But the hotel has got nothing to do with it! You can hear the road if you are on this side of the residence, but we had a perfectly quiet night.

Super stay, spacious junior suite, lovely restaurant. Whilst located on a road, the soundproofing was excellent, couldnt hear a thing from outside. I can imagine in summer this hotel would be a beautiful place to stay, but even in winter with snow on the ground, it was very cosy and inviting.

Nothing, but would suggest adding more light and plugpoints at the mirror on the dressing table in bathroom. That's all.

The room was great spacious light with large comfy bed and nice bathroom The pool is lovely and I was brought a glass of wine to pool side without even asking ! The evening meal was traditional and well executed

The terrace on the road side is rather close to the road We were unlucky , it started to rain. There were not enough covered tables and the inside bar was full with a private reception so there was nowhere for us to have a pre-diner drink

the room we had was amazing and the staff were great. and the food was excellent (although fairly pricey) the hotel is just off the motorway so ideal as a stop off.

the prices were very high 17.00 euros for a gin and tonic.

The room was very big and nice, true french country style. We got amazing service, the staff was so nice and they were helpful and very understanding, we will definitely be back, such a beautiful area.
