Location was great . We walking the Camino . So it was easy to find and enroute to next destination .The room was spacious with twin beds and shower was very good . It’s a popular hotel so we waited in a room until we got checked in which was nice . The staff were very efficient but pleasant and offered breakfast at €9 which was great value . You choose what u want the night before . We didn’t eat there but looked at the menu which looked good and reasonably priced . We choose to eat at a place close to the bridge we came across on our walk into the town , which had a lot of Caminos eating there and very nice food .

I think hotel was very efficient . We did online passport checkin the day before which speeded things up . I was very happy with our stay .

The town of Caldas de Rais is so small that everything is a short walk away. The hotel was on a quiet street but close to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff with good English skills. They were very responsive to my request for an early check in and we were able to get into our rooms around 1pm. The hotel looks like it was recently updated so it seemed very new and clean. They provide a breakfast but it did not start until 7:30 and we were already on the road by 7am so we did not get to try it, but the attached restaurant was very good. Delicious food and well priced with huge portions.

There was nothing that I did not like - however - I am leaving this piece of feedback for all the accommodation that we stayed at during the Camino walk. It would have been nice to have had a ‘foot spa’ in the room. Even something as simple as a basin and some ‘bubble bath/foot wash’. Of course we have a shower, but after a full day’s walk, it is nice to be able to ‘soak’ the feet for 10 or 15 mins. This could be done so cheaply, and have a great effect.

I stayed one night during my Camino and everything was absolutely fine — the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was good. Compared to some of the more modest places I stayed before, this hotel felt a bit less personal. Maybe it was just because I was tired that day, but I missed a warmer touch or welcome. The check-in was efficient, but a bit more distant than I expected. Still, it’s a good and dependable place to stay on the Camino.

The hotel is very well located. The facilities are clean and comfortable - the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and the shower has adequate pressure and hot water. Although it is paid extra they serve a very good and filling breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying in this hotel if you are in the area!

The hotel doesn't have a designated space for parking but there are many places to park nearby.

This was a great stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good location although the town didn’t seem too interesting. The shops on walking street either out of business or not appealing. The hotel had most amazing bicycle parking with electric plugs and cleaning station even tire pump.

The girl at check in was a bit indifferent, went through the motions without trying to be engaging. Next shift super helpful guy and in morning another who was helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu was subpar. Fries appeared to be reheated, meat was tender but had lots fat and sinewy parts. The restaurant is totally under staffed. Amazingly the waitress was patient and polite in spite of many tables.

the breakfast was excellent even if we should complete from the previous day the list concerning the food wich prefer to consume; in any case this is in favor of the economy and demonstrates an environmental concern. The quality of the food was excellent and most important the smiling face of Jorje who served us. It was a good start of our day!

It was difficult to find the entrance of the hotel which was in a small street beside the main road. In the façade there was the label with the name of the hotel but in fact there was a synonymous restaurant; we could pass through the restaurant and reach the hotel, but nobody informed us.

Friendly staff, excellent room with Juliet balcony, spotlessly clean. Delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant and superb breakfast too. Right on the Camino, so full marks for location. A very restful stay.

Nothing, it was all excellent.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at the door. We were encouraged to treat it as our home, and feel free to use the shared living area. The location was perfect, handy to town, yet so peaceful and quiet. The room was light and airy. Breakfast was amazing. Very nice restaurant atacched to the hotel which we highly recommend. Another great place to stay on the Camino.

Hotel is close to the Camino. Bed was comfortable, AC worked properly, great water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. Our room overlooked the plaza so it was a nice view. The cafes, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance along with the churches. The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast the next morning and there was plenty of food to start us on the Camino - eggs, bacon, bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, etc. The hotel was a perfect one night stop.
