The receptionist/host was particularly helpful about my arrival and in suggesting places for dinner. The location is as central as can be and the characterful old building has lots of charm. Breakfast was excellent, good coffee and plenty of it, and good bread, jams, honey etc.

A beautiful building full of character located right by the castle! Free public parking is available by the which is about 1 minute walk to the guest house. We stayed in a twin room for one night which was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The decor and furnishings fitted well with the historic building and location. Our host was very welcoming and helpful who recommended several local restaurants. We booked a table at the French Restaurant almost opposite the guest house main entrance. You need to book but i can recommend the food and service! I hope to visit again in the near future.

A hidden gem. The guy who runs the hotel was super helpful. It is a quirky hotel with attention to detail. Breakfast was lovely and we could choose the timing. Would definitely recommend.

Great location just by the fortress walls. Easy walking to town, restaurant and historical section. The house and staircase is 15th century! The host was very welcoming and spoke good English. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.

The stairs were a bit rickety, I knew there were some, but didn’t expect them to be so hard to manoeuvre . Pictures in the internet were nothing like the real thing!

Thomas was very friendly & welcoming. He gave us tips for Loche & for our next stop. He laid on breakfast for us even though we were later for it than we said we would be

The room was very nice, with a roomy updated bathroom. Location is perfect in centre ville of Loches. Staff very nice and helpful, breakfast good!

The steps are a bit tricky with a suitcase, but no problem for me.

Thomas met us in town to show us the way to the b&b as it was tricky. He showed us nearby free parking. Both he and Claude were very helpful and friendly.
