The Dedanau Lake View Hotel in Bedugul offers a truly peaceful escape. The room I stayed in, particularly the upper one with a direct view of the lake, was fantastic. I loved how refreshing it was to sleep with the balcony door open, letting the cool mountain air in. The serene lake view adds to the experience, making it a perfect spot for a quiet, restful stay.

While my stay at Dedanau Lake View Hotel was mostly pleasant, there was an issue with the electric kettle. The automatic shut-off feature was broken, so after boiling water, I left to chat, and the kettle continued heating the water until it evaporated completely. This was a bit frustrating, as it could be a safety concern and it affected the overall convenience of the room.

There was beautiful garden with many flowers, and beautiful chickens walking through a field of flowers. There were rest areas on the roof overlooking the lake. Beautiful Ulun Danu Bratan Park is front of the hotel. We could visit before it got crowded with group tourists. The restaurant didn’t have wine, but we could bring wine.

There was not mini bar in the room.

Great location, walkable to the shops and just across the road from the temple. Restaurant was also close and had a lovely garden to walk through in order to get there. Bed was comfy and the view was fantastic. Breakfast was also good. We ate ours on the rooftop, so views of the mountain and lake while eating breakfast in the morning was a beautiful experience. The room itself was clean and beautiful, with a huge window overlooking the lake, and a balcony to sit at. We also watched the sunrise in the morning, just the perfect spot for views of Bedugul honestly.

The mosque isn't far from the hotel. Depends on how much noise affects your sleep, personally, I slept just fine. The bathroom doesn't have a fan, so if your showers are hot, the bathroom will remain steamy for quite some time. The water took a long time to get hot in the first place in the shower.

Excellent location overlooking lake and temple. Spectacular view from second and third floors.

Highway is nearby so there is a bit of traffic noise. Lack of elevator from parking lot to first floor. Overpriced compared to hotels is Jakarta and Yogyakarta with more amenities.

A nice room. Great view from the Balcony. We were on the 1st floor. Good wifi. Reasonably clean. Make sure you are awake in time for the lovely sunrise. The upper deck area is lovely and this is where breakfast is served. A good breakfast. Staff were all nice.

A lot of noise in the neighbourhood and be aware that at 5am the nearby Mosque has its call to prayer. Didn’t bother me too much but did wake me up.

It’s a well located hotel, you even can see the temple from the rooms and the rooftop. The breakfast is complete and served in the rooftop or room. The staff may no speak really good English but they all are helpful and friendly. During our stay we needed a place to work and they opened a the rooftop room for us, which was really nice. Also we felt sick at night and they helped us bringing the dinner to the room. So, thank you all!

It might be that this area is particularly expensive for Bali, but I feel that the installations could be better for that price. Also, when we were leaving the security boy, who I didn’t seen before, offered us transportation but 5x the price that was asked in Gojek. That was weird. Apart from that I’ve tho recognize it was a good stay.

Good location.. Signage to the Hotel location could be improved.. I’m sure we weren’t the first to walk into the restaurant to check in.

As mentioned about signage.. Breakfast was nice but basic, could be improved with more variety.

The view is nice, workers are friendly, silent and peaceful

If you want to walk from the lake to hotel, dogs are chasing on the way but staff offered motor pick up for me. You can hear all the noises from the corridor and other rooms

We are stayed at this hotel several times already and the last time we came for the anniversary and the hotel made us a surprise! In the evening the clouds fall low and you sit right in them. Wow. Stunning views across the lake. Room was immaculate and staff were super friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, served at rooftop restaurant. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
