This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is tucked away at the very top of Ubud in a more local area. Beautiful surroundings and beautiful rooms. We had a villa with our own pool and it was wonderful. The staff were all so lovely and the food and drinks were gorgeous too. Located about 20 mins from the rice fields and monkey forest. The hotel has its own drivers, which made everything so accessible. You just wattsapp to say where you'd like to go. Also, room service was provided for anything you needed. If you're looking for somewhere to switch off and relax, we couldn't recommend this place enough. We stayed 4 days after a long journey. Amazing place.

We had a beautiful brand new villa with an absolutely beautiful view across the rice fields and valley

We were under the impression when we booked this property it was on flat land in the middle of rice fields as per the photos on booking.com. Instead were were perched on the side of a very steep valley. Every time we left our villa it involved climbing up or down multiple steps. Management however realised when we questioned it that the photos on booking.com in fact were of their partner property the Pondok Sebatu Eco lodge. They organised for us to spend our last night at this property which would have suited us much better as it was flat and surrounded by rice fields. The management went out of their way to provide transport to move us from one property to the other.

The stuff is extremely friendly and makes everything possible to make your wishes come true. We enjoyed an amazing full body massage and a delicious dinner at the hotel. Everything was wonderful!

Nothing, just be mindful that the location is quite isolated. It's very relaxing to be in the middle of nowhere but it should be taken into account when planning a holiday.

This is a hotel where you can fall asleep like meditation with the humming of animals at night in a unique nature. Be sure to get a massage. The hotel's massage is very, very successful. This hotel made us happy for 4 days of traveling until the evenings and coming to rest in the evenings during your trip with drivers around Ubud.

Since the insulation of the rooms is low, you often see animals such as Lizards and Frogs in your room. If you are afraid of these animals, you may have difficulty staying here. There was a gecko the size of my arm on the ceiling of our room. We could only use the kitchen for morning coffee. Apart from that, there is a restaurant right at the entrance of the hotel, we were able to eat there. The hotel's own cuisine was not tasty at all.

Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice, cooked to order. Location is a dream in the middle of the jungle with view of rice terraces that you are free to explore. Villas are lovely, cleaned daily and they provide mosquito coils every night to keep them away!

To be honest there wasn’t anything I didn’t like, you’re in the jungle so there’s bugs that’s to be expected! Nothing inside the villa except a couple of ants. There are a lot of steps if you are in the bottom villas which I was but again not a problem for me but for others it could be a struggle.

The location on the valley with the views, all the green, the height differences, its all beautiful and so serene. The staff is super, really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good and although it's in a very quiet town there are still other nice places to go to doe dinner. We had the villa with private pool and we loved it

Nothing you can do about it probably, but its a shame that they are building on the other side of the valley. This will really negatively influence the views.

This is my first time leaving written review, because this place is like a dream. The Villa is beautiful, very private, amazing location and the staff is the most welcoming, kind people. They are always ready to help/assist and made us feel like we were at home. We will definitely come back!! ❤️

The property’s location is pure perfection. The view from the restaurant is of the rice fields and one of the best ones in whole of Tegalalang, giving the guest an opportunity to eat breakfast and dinner with a million dollar view. The rooms are very clean, the staff is hospitable and welcoming. I have never been more pampered in my life and the logistics and organization of the staff is just beyond. You can get anything at this place, a massage, good dinner, renting a motocycle or just enjoying the pool. The property is vast and you can take a stroll or go for a trekking excursion on the rice terases right from the resort. The food is delicious. Without a doubt the best breakfast I had in Bali.

Pondok Sebatu Villa is a beautifully located hotel. Amazing view from the pool, food in the restaurants and breakfast are delicious. Prices higher compared to other hotels in Bali, but high quality.

a lot of lizards run around the building in the evening, but this is understandable in such a place. If someone is afraid of such animals, they must be careful

We have just arrived back from a most fantastic trip to Bali. We had the opportunity to stay at the Pondok Sebatu Villas where the service was outstanding. The villas were extremely clean and had a lovely view from the balcony. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Each day the staff would do over and above for us and always welcomed us with a smile. The shuttle bus was great and on our first trip to Ubud town the driver went out of his way to wait for us while we visited the Terrace Rice fields with the famous Insta swing. All in all Pondok villas were amazing and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a relaxing experience with all comfort and hospitality provided. One thing I would say is it is one and half hour away from the airport and you will need a driver to take you to the sites. This was not a problem for us though. Thank you Pondok Sebatu Villas 🙏
