Staff were great. Had a 3 night stay and they allowed me to leave after just 1 night with the 2 nights being refunded as I wanted to leave Ubud. Very nice of them to allow this as they did not have too. Breakfast was very nice. The resturant across the street from the hotel was very nice too.

Nothing wrong with this property although it was a little dark and damp with the way the property is set up. I had stayed in Ubud the previous 3 nights before arriving here - I just had too much of Ubud. Very dirty area and wanted to try a different part of Bali on my 9 night trip.

The Jungle rooms are definitely way better than garden so splurge if you can. We LOVED the pool area and it was never crowded so we were able to get great seats for sunset every evening. The property was super walkable to all sorts of things like Monkey Forest, fancy restaurants and affordable warungs with really high ratings. The staff were phenomenal and honestly their Japanese Mori was the best meal of our lives - do yourself a favor and book in!! We had the place to ourselves and honestly it was amazing. The cleaning services in the room and turn down were great. We found the staff super friendly and the food at the pool side was amazing and reasonably priced. Great spa and massages which we loved. We would go back for sure! They had the best gym we visited across 7 places across Bali - small and sometimes crowded but well stocked and had AC. The pool was the perfect temperature.

The pillows weren't very comfortable sadly and gave us neck aches. We had read great reviews about the breakfast but we HATED it and nearly didn't order it some of the mornings even though it was free. That said, the restaurant at the pool and Mori were to die for so that was strange. We spent 4 nights there so we had four mornings to try but couldn't get on board.

It’s a shame kids are welcome, relaxing by such a beautiful infinity pool with children splashing, screaming and coughing wasn’t what would be expected from a luxury boutique hotel. But everything else was perfect!

Excellent staff, very welcoming and efficient prior to and throughout the stay. Wonderful room, spacious seating area and bathroom. Very comfortable bed, pillows and linen, plenty of wardrobe space. Very clean and quiet. Great breakfast options. Swimming pool good with comfortable lounges and cafe attached. Complimentary activities arranged by the hotel were great such as sound meditation, cooking and Jammu making class.

No/limited fans in the outdoor roof space, made yoga very hot as well as breakfast on the days it was very humid.

Loved the pool area. Great free yoga session. Large room, comfortable beds. Staff was attentive, food was great and a quiet location in Ubud. Great sunsets.

The hotel needs to decide if its a boutique hotel or a family hotel. Such a small hotel with a quiet location should not be for small children. The pool area should be quiet and relaxing, but once small children are allowed it ruins the peace for everyone there. It wasn't a lot of kids there, but just two small ones managed to ruin the peace for all the guest there, I was not the only one visibly annoyed. It would have been a 9/10 if no kids. The sofa and living room furniture in the rooms could use replacing, starting to look worn. 10/10 with newer furniture and no kids.

Nice location away from the busiest street but still in the centre of everything you want to see in Ubud. Amazing breakfast and pool area, great room - highly recommend getting a forest suite for a completely not overlooked room with a view on the forest. The staff were all lovely.

The staff were so lovely but need to be firmer with guests and enforcing the no smoking at the pool rule. It was unpleasant breathing in other peoples cigarette and cigar smoke when relaxing by the pool and having to move to avoid it.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel in Ubud. The location is perfect—very close to many attractions, which made getting around super convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of a small treat left for me every day—it was a nice touch. The highlight, though, was definitely the view from my room—it was absolutely stunning and made for a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Ubud!

Breakfast was good, but the options were a bit limited. For such location, I was expecting more variety in the fruit selection, as well as a more diverse buffet overall.

What an amazing hotel! The staff were so kind and helpful, the best on our trip. We arrived at 1am from the airport and met with a lovely welcome. The hotel design is stunning, the use of natural materials is very calming and serine. Breakfast was the best! So many options and every one was very yummy!! I recommend the local breakfast rice porridge it’s savoury and very tasty. The pool is small but never felt busy even though the hotel was fully booked. The copper kitchen is still some of the best food we had in Ubud- very very good! EMBERS is the other restaurant and that was sooooo good! I would recommend this hotel for a honeymoon super relaxing and calming

There is a lot of construction outside the hotel. Right outside our room actually. It didn’t affect our trip that bad but something to be mindful of. There is construction everywhere in Bali so hard to get away from it and not the hotels fault.

Very clean Beautiful rooms - we stayed in the forest suite and it was amazing We especially liked the complimentary activities - yoga, cooking classes, mocktail classes. Staff were friendly and very helpful with anything that we needed

The breakfast buffet was thoughtful with a small but delicious selection of fruits, pastries, and cereal. However the a la carte menu was limited and not overly tasty (we tried most of it on our 5 day stay). About 15 minute walk just to the start of the Main Street, however we found we had to catch a motorcycle/car to get close to the good shopping/eating locations as they were probably a good 30mins walk away

Such a contrast to the ornate buildings of Ubud, heavily ornamented and full of craftmanship, Bisma Eight is very comtemporary with its cast concrete walls, clean lines and lack of ornamentation. But the wonderful Bali feel is still there with the excellent staff team. Food was delicious, although we really only had breakfast and poolside drinks and snacks, preferring to explore Ubud for our evening meal. Great location and infinity pool with jungle beyond is lovely.

Interesting to see the aging of a modernist vs a traditional building (although it is only 10 years old). Moss and algae growing on old walls and sculptures is lovely, but on a flat concrete wall, not so much…. And the polycarbonate roof over the restaurant is now covered in leaves and algae, but I suspect isn’t strong enough for someone to go up and clean it…
