The property was in a very good location only walking distance of many popular areas and shops for souvenirs. The space was very cute for couples and felt very private. There are 24 hour staff on site to help when needed. We were able to book airport transfer before our stay which made it easier to get from the airport to the hotel upon arrival. We also used their laundry services. We received our laundry the same day nicely folded and ironed. Typically, it will take 24 hours for laundry to be done.

There was not much else to see on the property aside from your own villa. Since you are located in the jungle and the villa is not completely enclosed, there are a lot of critters that enter your space. The villa does not have an iron available.

Great location easy walk to many restaurants and cafes and shops. Rooms were beautiful typical Balinese. Beds were very comfortable and the pool was gorgeous! Pool quite cool but we enjoyed that might be too cool for some. Breakfast was very nice with lots to choose from and delivered to your room at a time of your choosing. A very beautiful room for a romantic getaway and to relax. I did find it very noisy at night you can hear everything lots of frogs and staff chatting. The outdoor bathroom and huge bath was lovely. We booked a double massage in our room was nice and very inexpensive. Room service was average. Staff were lovely I would stay again

Toilet was making weird bubbling noises our whole stay. I asked reception to look at it but I think its just their plumbing but it was annoying at night.

The staff were amazing, really friendly and were always there to offer any assistance if needed. The rooms were always cleaned around your schedule as well, so they often asked if the room was free to clean while you were out etc. You were always welcomed back with a smile off every staff member. The restaurants up the road had some of the best food I’ve tasted and unbelievable prices as well. Would recommend this place to anyone I know that’s travelling to Ubud.

If you struggle with mobility the hill getting up and down to the villa might be an issue and there’s a small slope once inside up to the villas. I wouldn’t say this is a negative just something to be mindful of when booking.

An amazing experience - the facilities, staff, and location were all perfect. It was a dream to have breakfast by our private pool every morning, returning to the friendly staff every day after exploring Ubud was always a delight, and the giant stone tub and private pool easy to make use of (and totally secluded.)

The only problem, something they couldn't control, were the mosquitos and other bugs - the villa is literally surrounded by trees and plants, so you're kind of in the elements. The room isn't completely sealed off, so sometimes bugs did get in (even though they have a lovely mosquito net for the bed, I was still bitten a few times.) This isn't a sealed off hotel room in a resort, but it was a perfect room otherwise.

The location is absolutely amazing! We booked the itinerary at the last minute (just one day before our arrival) without any prior planning, but it turned out perfect. The hotel is in the heart of Ubud, making it incredibly convenient. We had easy access to historic sites, stunning natural scenery, delicious food, shopping spots, massage, yoga and meditation centers. My stay was a perfect balance of staying busy and feeling relaxed. While Ubud’s streets can be crowded and noisy, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, offering a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. This would definitely be my top choice for accommodation in Ubud, and I can’t wait to come back again! The hosts and staff are incredibly kind and chill. The host went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests, from preparing an early breakfast for my diving day to arranging convenient pick-up spots with the driver. I will truly miss my time here. I spent the new year eve here and cheers to an incredible year ahead!

We had the most fantastic and luxurious stay at Wana Bucu Villas. The Villa itself was gorgeous and we loved how private it felt, the bed was super comfy. The staff are so lovely and helpful, we particularly liked the use of WhatsApp to order breakfast to the villa the evening before. Good location a very short walk from Ubud center, with great restaurants and shops along the way. We really had the best stay and would recommend Wana Bucu to anyone and would love to visit again.

Not an issue for us but there are two very steep hills to access the villas. Something to be aware of for those who may have issues walking.

The reception staff are wonderful! We were offered afternoon tea on arrival and given multiple choices for breakfast to be delivered to our room the following morning. They arranged transportation when we needed it and accommodated every wish. The private villas are well appointed and very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and bath, it was very secluded with beautiful gardens.

Access to the site and the rooms is very steep, so if you have mobility issues, this could be a problem for you.

Wanu Bucu Villas had a calming, open feel - the space felt airy and to relax into. The location is perfect, tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet only a short walk to the heart of Ubud. The team was warm and friendly, making everything easy and natural. Breakfast was fresh, simple and beautifully presented - the perfect start to each day. Nothing felt forced - just peaceful, thoughtful, and beautifully done

The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The room was cleaned every day after we left, it was just like the first day we arrival, I have never had a room so clean and neat to come back to. Would highly recommend this place . Location was 2 minutes walk to main street restaurant shops etc. They were always there to help you. I will definitely be staying here again.

The place was perfect. Have to say this is the best place I have stayed in and I have travel alot, I am 69 years old. Afternoon tea every day free. Every Villa has there own pool in a secluded setting, was just heaven. Thankyou to the staff for a wonderful stay.

Obsessed with the flowers upon arrival and most of all how the staff decorated for Valentine’s Day; totally exceeded my expectations for the pool flowers we ordered. I was BEYOND happy! The staff were very nice and friendly, answered messages quickly and with clear information.

The food wasn’t great; luckily the location is close to other options but only ordered dinner once and thought it was horrible. The breakfast was a bit better; unhappy that some days item menus in the morning were “sold out” that hasn’t happened to be in a hotel setting, disappointing in that aspect as we didn’t always have time in the morning to go out for breakfast prior to starting our day.
