The room was ground floor, directly after reception in the two-floor buildings. I was a bit concerned about noise but it was no problem. It is a beautiful little resort style place, relaxing with fantastic planting everywhere you look. The pool is great though warm unless you swim early in the morning until around 10am (Feb.) Room was very spacious with a large bathroom. AC works well but will take a while to cool the place down- I suggest you leave it on if you want a cool place to come back to. The safe-box is a small one, good for passports, tickets or Ipad but not a 13inch laptop. You order breakfast the day before at reception- note in Bali you get exactly what you see in the pictures as it isn't a buffet and you don't get more than you see, inclusive one coffee only. M juice (papaya) didn't seem like freshly squeezed juice but I'm unsure as this was the first time trying papaya. Since it is very warm, it was ok as you don't over eat. Location is middle of a side street to one of the many main streets in Ubud. Nearby are many restaurants, massage & cosmetic places to relax in. A short taxi ride or 15min walk and you are on the main street. Hiring scooter taxis is the easiest and fastest way around as there is a lot in traffic. Feb. is off-season in Balis so not as many tourists or people in the hotel. I saw 4-5couples staying at the hotel/resort. Highly recommended for a budget but luxury-feel accommodation in Ubud.

No real complaints, more a note: Dexlux-room with king bed- I thought I had ordered a room that you see in most photos-the white small buildings with direct view to the rice paddy. Be aware that this is NOT the case- these are other rooms. 2 other couples also mistakingly thought similar to me. If you cannot do many stairs like me, make sure you mention this when booking. I was just lucky I got a ground floor room. The pool is "missing" a step so to get out of the pool you need to step up over a 1.5feet high. This wont be easy if inhabil or weak in the legs- you will maybe need help.

Great location on Jalan Bisma which has lots of spas, restaurants and shopping but also a short walk to the main areas of Ubud. I was very happy with my suite room. It was large, had a great bathroom including a big stone bathtub. The suites are individual bungalows so there is little noise from your neighbours. The suites also has a spacious outside patio which looks over the small rice fields. If possible I would avoid suites 2 & 3 as they are closest to the pool in the neighbouring property and there was a fair bit of noise from children screaming. The property puts a lot of effort into the tropical gardens which are just gorgeous. The pool is a decent size and also has a great view over the rice fields. They did ask me to pre-order breakfast (the meal & the time) the night before. But when I forgot it didn’t seem to be a problem. It’s easier if you don’t know what time you’re going to wake up. The breakfast was generous with a selection of hot dishes, juices & fruit platters. The banana pancakes with chocolate sauce are fantastic. For the price I paid, I think Abipraya is good value. I’m already planning my next stay

The coffee at breakfast is really bad (you only get half a cup and they don’t seem to use a filter so you get a centimetre of sludge in the bottom of your cup)

Everything about the Hotel was good! It has quite a central location in Ubud and you can walk to many places from the Hotel. Staff was very kind and helpful.

The breakfast consists of a small slice of bread, 1 small jam, boiled or scrambled egg, slices of fruits and coffee. Considering fruits are very cheap in Ubud/Bali, at least more fruits could have been served. Also, if your room is close to the entrance/reception/mini restaurant for breakfast, you will have to wake up at 7am with people coming to breakfast and chit chatting loudly lit a few meters away from your room.

Abipraya is a unique slice of Ubud. Having the rice field terraces amidst the hustle and bustle is lovely. The staff are welcoming and always try to make your stay comfortable as possible. The location is good, only a short walk to the main road, shops, etc. The room is clean and comfortable, with great facilities. Having the outdoor deck area is lovely if you get one of the bungalow-type rooms. Abipraya is reasonable for what you get; it has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Ubud. :)

Guests should be aware that there is a live music night five days a week on Jalan Bisma (where this hotel is located). The live music doesn’t stop until after 11 pm. There is also a hotel directly next door with their pool facing the bungalow rooms; during my stay, there were very noisy guests in the pool until at least 1 am. The room doesn’t have a clothes drying rack which would be convenient if added.

The location was great. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was made fresh, the only thing was you had to decide the day before.

The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom could do with a good clean . The sink ,bath and toilet were dirty ,not sure if they have cleaned them for a long time.

Great staff and rooms, set in verdant surroundings (complete with wildlife) and a nice pool. Easy walk to all areas of Ubud: main street, monkey forest , Campuhan Ridge walk etc. Arranged a driver to take us to the port at the end of our stay, very helpful.

Beautiful view from the pool area. Great location you're right in the middle of Ubud. Huge room, however if you'd like to get the rice field view you should book the Suite room. We booked another type since we weren't aware that only Suite rooms face the rice field. Super friendly staff.

The bathroom need a better maintenance and cleaning. During breakfast there was a cat that keeps jumping to the table to get food. The staff helped to moved the cat, but it came back again. Because of this I won't come back anymore unfortunately.

The gardens were beautiful though the rice paddy in all of their promotional materials was just a giant mud puddle when we visited in December. The location was perfect and close to many great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the giant bath tub! They were also very kind and prepared a birthday surprise for my child!

They had so much construction going on! It started at 6:30 in the morning and just kept going until after dinner. The “smart” tv only got YouTube and would not let us connect our Netflix account and at first the TV wasn’t even connected. There are also a boatload of mosquitos and there were any zappers or anything to mitigate them.

I stayed at Abipraya Hotel in Ubud and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was convenient and the facilities were quite good for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay more enjoyable. The cleanliness was okay — not perfect, but acceptable. We were two families traveling from Australia. I had a 3-year-old son, and the other family had an 11-year-old daughter. Even with a young child, we felt very comfortable during our stay. Everything was fine and we were happy with our experience. The breakfast was also good — not amazing, but definitely satisfying. I asked for some extra bread and a few additional items, and they brought them without any issue or extra charge. If I ever come back to Ubud, I would stay at this hotel again. It’s a great value for what you pay. thank you so much for everything 🙏😊

One small thing to note: the stone pathways around the hotel are quite beautiful and give the place a nice, natural charm. However, the gaps between the stones can be a bit tricky when walking, especially with certain types of shoes like sneakers. I had some issues with my shoes getting scratched and slightly damaged, so just be mindful when walking, especially with expensive footwear. All in all, I was very satisfied with the stay, and if I return to Ubud, I would definitely choose this hotel again.😉🙏

Large room (we had Deluxe King) with a good fridge, large bathroom. Good position near many restaurants and central Ubud. The settings resemble a botanical garden, a lot of birds and butterflies, all observable from the very nice pool!

Be aware that there are two parts of the hotel, an older town-house style part (where we stayed) and a newer one with bungalows overlooking a rice field and the pool.
