For a budget hotel, it was great, the room was comfortable, the shower had great hot water, wifi worked well. There is a communal kitchen where we made tea and coffee. Staff are lovely. Gardens and pool are nice. Location is perfect, far enough away from Monkey Forest road to be peaceful and quiet, yet so close to everything. We enjoyed our stay.

No breakfast included so we went out to eat, but we could have made toast and eggs at the communal kitchen.

Quiet oasis, tucked away from main road. Cute individulal Balinese style cottages. Lovely gardens and swimming pool. Staff always available to assist. Communal kitchen. Wifi was 70% ok. Cuts out now and then. Only, 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants etc..

Daily water delivered to room Wifi 5 minute walk from main road. Taxis cannot drive to exact location receptiion. Be prepared to carry your luggage down laneway.

I recently stayed at this fabulous hotel and I couldn't have been happier with my experience! The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Ubud. But what truly stood out was the staff - they were so helpful, attentive, and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getawaw to Ubud.

Everything was perfect

Plenty / a lot ...to like about 'Swan Inn' ! (1).The room itself..(Room number 14 )..massive ,old-style Balinese room ..2 double beds ,good /excellent air con,fridge on the huge balcony, which had seating for ,at least, 6 people ! Good pressure/hot and cold,of course,shower...great sized bathroom. (No shampoo..not an issue for me..not a lot of hair left !). Good hanging space for clothes, if needed .Very good sized bench for laptop and luggage . Plus a window for lighting .Cannot find ANY fault.(2) Location..'Swan ' is down a laneway,which is off another lane (on the corner ..: "Lokal Pub "..worth a visit..great owner !). Set back from the main road leading to hugely busy area of Ubud.. makes "Swan Inn" an excellent spot. (Plus... very close to cafe's /'Circle K'/ bars and restaurants..ideal ) Great pool and gardens..maintained every day ...it is a credit to the gardener. Fully stocked communal kitchen .(Which makes the room itself, less cluttered. ) Cooking food/boiling water..not a problem .(3). The staff! How good are they !?? Nothing is a problem..really ! Cleaned room every day, if required and booking a car /tour..just ask ! It is extremely rare that staff (locals in general I ), throughout Bali's ..Homestays/Guesthouses ...have not qualities of the best in people ! Suspect, for most of us..it's the reason we like Bali and keep returning ! I will certainly return to Ubud and not stay anywhere else except here.."Swan Inn ". Cannot recommend highly enough ! They deserve a very high rating !

Look..wifi in the ROOM itself..poor . On the balcony ..:better. It is a huge 'compound' so that may explain it !? Otherwise..see "Likes",above..that covers my experience there ..Had booked for one night and immediately extended another 4 ...until I needed to fly home .

We loved the friendly environment. The staff were amazing. We had our young family there and even though there were no other kids the regular guests were very welcoming. It was such a great experience we'll be back for years to come.

Some of the linen was a bit warn and dated. The shared kitchen could do with a few more bowls, knives and spoons. But these were minor inconveniences. Swan Inn was such a great place to stay.

Location is amazing, next to Ubud palace and all the other attractions (market, temples and etc.) Really enjoyed beautiful garden and pool. Staff is very helpful, room was clean and even had a small refrigerator. Really relaxing and calming atmosphere.

Kitchen in a common area was a bit messy

behind Main Street and among Balinese homes so got a feel for Balinese life. lovely lush gardens. nice and good value banana pancake breakfast. people there v kind and helped me when I had Bali belly. very good value for money.

The staff is really nice and welcoming, but there should be someone available in the morning to request breakfast and so on.

Great location, it’s a little further down the path than what maps show but the path was super pretty so I think it is actually a better location. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Room was comfortable (deluxe king) bathroom was big and clean with great water pressure and hot shower. You can do laundry on-site and it’s cheap and clean. The hotel itself is in really pretty gardens!

There was no kettle/coffee, I probably could have got one if I asked but I thought it would be in there. The pool was a bit green and so I didn’t want to go in. The bed was super comfortable but a bit smelly, maybe pillows need washing or mattresses protector installed?

Swan Inn is honestly super well located in Ubud center. It was within walking distance of everything. And the Inn perse was very nice! It had a great pool, super friendly and helpful staff, big rooms with balconies, and great AC. They provide as much housekeeping as you like, and they even sell bottles of water and beer on site.

The walkway to the Inn is a bit dark and narrow which was a bit scary at night, especially with motorbikes coming through the path as you're walking too. But during daylight they were fine. The wifi could be better, but I managed to make do. And the shower pressure and temperatures were a little unpredictable. Also, I found quite a few spiderwebs throughout the bathroom but it wasn't a huge deal for me.
