The whole property was beautiful. The statues, details in the wood carvings, the doors to the bedroom / bathroom, very special. We were greeted with a gorgeous welcome of “Happy Honeymoon” written with rose petals on the bed, which was the perfect welcome. The breakfast was good, wish we got more time to just hangout at the hotel and really take advantage if it.

The moment we entered the bathroom first day, there was a cockroach in the room (the staff member removed it for me), and one day we got back to our room and although it was locked, the doors were slightly pushed open. Bed linens had multiple stains. You could also hear critters in the ceiling or roof at night which was a bit unsettling before bed. Overall, would recommend for the ambiance absolutely, just beware that being in the jungle, you will hear ”nature noises”.

Centrally located in Ubud, but away from crowds and traffic. Absolutely stunning beyond photos and imagination. The accommodation is inside ornate buildings just like temples. It’s mind blowing. Beds are comfortable, staff attentive. Cheapest massages I’ve seen and I’ve travelled Asia extensively. Good food. Couldn’t rate it higher.

If you are scared of bugs, the rooms have brickwork at the top that lets air in (without nets). Having said this I saw no evidence of a single crawling or flying beast in my room at any time. It was spotless.

No safety box in room , long walk to room from entrance , walking up 4 flights of stairs was a killer, if I stayed in future i would ask for ground floor , aircon was small for large room but it was ok .

the room is huge! we love the spacious balcony, king bed and also bathroom. the compound is beautiful with lush greenery and stone statutes / details. the choices of set breakfast is varied. they are accomodating for vegetarian requests. the breakfast area is across the street (because we were allocated room at a different wing of the hotel) but its not an issue. the staff were all welcoming and helpful. there are cooking classes and yoga classes in the guesthouse.

though the hotel is off the main street., loud music from a pub near our room can be heard at night.

The Honeymoon Guesthouse is a gem, an oasis of calm in a busy town Step off the street and instantly relax. The individual rooms are spacious and welcoming, with a covered outdoor area to offer shade from the sun and occasional rain shower, where you can relax on the daybed or enjoy coffee at a table The restaurant is outstanding with a fantastic menu and each dish a delicious treat for the tastebuds. I tried a yoga class in the upstairs studio, swam in and relaxed by the pool and booked a couple of treatments at the onsite spa. An excellent place within walking distance of the shops and many of the attractions that Ubud offers in abundance

The staffs are so kind, attentive, and nice! I really liked that they genuinely greeted you and said how we are doing each time we met. The linens and towels are clean, enough drinking water bottles refilled every day, breakfasts are above expectations, great location to reach the center, the swimming pool is so clean and perfect cool temperature (some places have dirty water), and the garden is so well maintained. I especially loved the inner garden view from the terrace and reading books there or do yoga, so peaceful.

Only two things: behind the Suite room where we stayed there is a laundry room (different property, not part of the hotel) and sometimes the guy who works there was singing in the night (11-12) really loud for whatever reason, and disturbed my sleep badly. The hotel staffs were very attentive and gave the guy a notice when I told them and did their best to resolve it though. Also, there's a live music cafe nearby and although they do stop at around 12pm but if you're an early sleeper like me, you can struggle, so I recommend booking something further away from the center. Second thing was that the bathroom could be slightly cleaner I thought.

This is my 4th stay here and it is my favourite place in Ubud. There are lots of amazing hotels here, but this is the one I keep wanting to cone back to. Ubud is changing so quickly, but here still feels like old-school Bali. It’s so beautiful! The food is to die for, the pool is magnificent and the staff are extraordinary. They are so welcoming and helpful; they really will help you with anything. But why I love them so much is because when I got very sudden and unexpected Bali Belly and was very sick, they got me a doctor at 9pm and kept checking on me until I was ok. When I arrived back after a week elsewhere, they put me in the same room and the first thing they asked was how I was. I felt so safe and looked after. This is my Ubud home.

We spent 3 nights in honeymoon 3 which is 5 min walk from the other rooms but is newly renovated and was amazing. Ac worked well which is important when it feels like 42 degrees outside. While there is technically construction going on it was not noisy and didn’t impact our stay at all. Breakfast was good with varied options that you pick the night before. We also had the pool to ourselves (there is one at honeymoon 3). We really enjoyed the birds in morning and geckos at night as well (& did find area to be well lit despite some reviews). I also took in the spice rub massage which was really lovely. I was more relaxed than I’ve been in years! We added one night to our stay and ended up at the main location, the staff were kind enough to move our bags while we were on a tour. We did have a difficult time sleeping in unit 7, the AC didn’t work well so the room was very warm & I’m sensitive to lights so room wasn’t dark enough for me. Overall the place was beautiful, staff lovely and we’d return but would prefer the 2 bedroom unit (#45). Also the photos don’t do it justice, it is 2 queen beds and 2 full bathrooms and the amount of detail is amazing)

We did notice a smell in the bathroom, perhaps coming from the pipes as it was very clean & new. In main building the Ac barely worked (needs replacement) There was a fan but it didn’t cool the room enough. There was also a smell in the bathroom.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast offered was delicious although not too varied but the hospitality of every staff member is beyond expectations. I specifically loved the fact that there is a cooking school within the premises which offers great cooking lessons.

Our room faced the backstreet which, with no windows, proved to be extremely noisy so sleeping was difficult after 5:30am. The mattress of our bed wasn't too comfy so that's minus 2 points regarding the quality of sleep we could get.

I loved the beautiful architecture and thoughtful design of the rooms—my first-floor space had a huge balcony and a dreamy four-poster bed. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling off, and the breakfast was generous and fresh. It’s in a great location: peaceful and tucked away from Ubud’s chaos, but still with easy access to restaurants and shops. I was travelling solo and found it a great base to explore from—yoga studios like the Yoga Barn and Alchemy were a short bike ride away. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a quiet and stylish retreat in Ubud.
