The Garden was beautiful and very quiet and private. ! All kind of wonderful flowers, water features, beautiful swimming pool, delicious breakfast of fresh fruits and juices, eggs, bacon . The staff also prepares excellent breakfast boxes if you are going out earlier than the restaurant opens at 8am. The location was excellent..several very good restaurants across the street, Mexican, Japanese, Italian and Balinese as well as a good coffee shop and great Balinese massages and shopping. The resort is walking distance to the Palace, art market and water lotus temple. Staff organized an excellent driver named Made to pick us up at the airport, take us on several excursions to rice terraces, temples, waterfalls , and deliver us to the cruise ship Port. Everyone on staff was very lovely and helpful.

Excellent! It is rare that I give a 10 rating. A collection of cottages in lush gardens. Attractive pool. Very spacious room, with a sofa, kettle, very large bathroom. Balcony with table and chairs overlooking garden, everything I could possibly want. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, small buffet plus a cooked dish to order. I was there for the annual "Day of Silence", when I couldn't go out; they provided meals through the day (usually only breakfast). In the city centre, so close to everything, but still a peaceful location, plenty of cafes and restaurants just outside.

I really liked that the location was just off Raya Ubud. There were restaurants and a convenience store right outside but once you enter Samhita, it was peaceful and tranquil. The size of the room was good and the garden was beautiful.

They only had bottled water. I tried to refill my flask or the previous bottles and they said they only used bottled water. That was disappointing given that Balinese in general have a lot of respect for nature. Being able to cut on single use plastic would would make the hotel excellent. Also a bidet in the toilet would have been great.

Located at the top end of Ubud, near the monkey forest. Lots of restaurants and spas on the same street and within a short walk. Room with own pool was lovely. Big firm bed, huge dressing room. AC was super cold!

Every night we could hear the bar over the road-band came on at 8pm and played until 11pm. Breakfast was only between 8-1030 and took a long time-fine for a slow morning but not so good if you had somewhere to be.

You could not get a better located property. It’s only 150 metres from the Main Street of Ubud a short walk to Monkey Forest Road and the Ubud Palace. In amongst some great dining options. The hotel is well maintained and has a beautiful pool surrounded by a stunning and lush manicured tropical garden. The staff are all so helpful nothing is too much trouble and any small issues are dealt with immediately. comfortable rooms and bedding. I stayed in both a deluxe room and the 1 bedroom pool Villa which was divine!

Nothing - Having stayed at other properties in Ubud this is great for people who don’t like a lot of steps as it’s on relatively flat ground.

Samhita Gardens is in an excellent location, close to the main road but still quiet and beautifully landscaped. It has excellent restaurants and cafes a few minutes walk away. I stayed in one of the stunning, and very spacious, villas. It was like walking into heaven every day, after a day out exploring. The villa was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful private pool. The staff at Samhita are very warm, professional and friendly. They really make the resort special and go out of their way to be helpful and supportive. I absolutely loved it here and cannot wait to return. I highly recommend staying at Samhita Gardens, Ubud.

poor breakfast and layout of the bathrooms not very good - obviously an old property that was renovated. not enough power points in the room - and no power socket provided for electric kettle. had to unplug a lamp and place the kettle on the floor to heat up water. poorly designed electrical layout

We stayed in a villa with our own pool and cabana which was a luxurious start to our holiday in Bali. The location was perfect with shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance and gardens that were well maintained and tropically lush. The villa was large with separate bedroom, large dressing area, bathroom with spa and separate shower and toilet. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was the same everyday with basic limited choices. Would not be a problem for short stays.

In a good location, close to shopping, restaurants and bars. The property has lovely, well maintained gardens. We stayed in a private pool villa. It was spacious and clean. The villa, its gardens and pool area felt like you had your own private piece of Bali. The included breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

There is a bar across the road which has loud music until late, but once inside with the doors closed we hardly noticed it.
