I stayed at this hotel in the heart of Ubud, and it was fantastic! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Ubud Palace, shops, and halal shop (burger & kebab or vegetarian shops), yet still peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was a real highlight. They served a variety of halal options like omelets and pancakes. Everything was delicious, and the fresh juice was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. If you're looking for a hotel with a great location, value for money and amazing breakfast in Ubud, this is it!

Great location off the main thoroughfare but still close to everything. An enjoyable breakfast was included in the price and was enjoyed in their rooftop terrace with interesting views of the surrounding area. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice vibe. Room was okay and has an outside sitting area but we had a few issues with it.

Room was a little damp smelling and it’s location was right next to the reception desk and so lacked privacy as we could hear everything and I imagine so could they. Had a bath though which was novel.

The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent—it was what I liked the most. The location, while very good as it is close to the center of Ubud, is not accessible by car.

My room, in particular, didn’t have large windows, so it smelled a bit damp. However, it was appropriate in terms of price and quality.

This place is magical! The people who work here are a family and some the kindest people I have ever met. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe during my stay. My room was huge, spacious and clean. High ceilings, comfy bed, big windows and a huge bathroom. A real feeling of grandeur and elegance! The delicious complimentary breakfast is served on the shaded rooftop overlooking green spaces, nearby homes and with views to the volcano! Your breakfast is prepared fresh while you wait. You can access the rooftop and free wifi anytime to enjoy the views, quiet, complimentary tea/coffee and lovely breeze. There is a small fridge in the room and if you want to it is ok to use the rooftop kitchen for your own cooking. I also used the laundry service during my stay which was done in 24 hrs, priced per kilo and returned in perfect condition. The location is reachable only by scooter or walking, as it is surrounded by rice fields. I loved this! My Gojek car brought me from Canggu to the closest street nearby and I was able to follow the signs and walk to Hibiscus Cottages from there easily. You will be very close to downtown Ubud, walking easily to anything you would like. I loved it here! I will definitely be back! Thank you for having me :)

everything was perfect.

It was a nice luxury bedroom with private big bathroom and toilet, it looks like a rich private villa in Balinese style, walking through the rice field, close to the main streets in Ubud and local restaurants and shops. Monkey forest is 24 min away. Nice breakfast. The host is very nice and ready to help in case you need.

The breakfast service is a big slow but they do their best and serve fresh juice that is very nice.

The rooms were huge , we had 2 bedrooms which were very large and with separate air conditioning The bathroom was huge Overall the villa was beautiful with Balinese style I loved the stay , it is centrally located Everything is nearby from the ridge walk to the ubud palace and the art market

Typical Balinese cottage. It was such a huge apartment and beautiful on the outside but also inside. The view from where we ate our breakfast was gorgeous. The staff was always available and accomodating. The breakfast was delicious and they also made typical Balinese dishes. For what I paid, it was beyond what I expected.

The cottage is kind of old so and you can see it but that’s understandable. The water in the bathtub and sink took awhile for it to go down. Other than that, I still highly recommend it.

The staff were lovely and the rooftop is a stunning place to watch the sun rise or set. Will absolutely be staying here again.

No refrigerator available inside the room. However, the staff allowed minimal things to be stored in their fridge.

The location was off the main road and therefore peaceful and quiet, but still withing walking distance of Ubud center and most tourist attractions. The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating and very helpful in finding guides and drivers. The few issues that arose they handled beautifully. The breakfast was delicious with great variety and something for everyone, though we did have an order mix up on our last day. The rooftop had an amazing view, and we enjoyed eating there every day. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

There were some spiderwebs in the corners and sand kept falling from the roof ever time it rained.

Friendly staff/family and were very helpful with everything. Wifi in our room was great, family went “above and beyond” like letting us use their old family pram, finding us good deals on local tours, very forgiving and understanding of our annoying children, offered to cook me extra breakfast given my wife wasn’t eating etc. Located in a quiet area but still walking distance to things in town

garbage bin was too small? not a huge deal though and was emptied daily
