One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in Ubud area (it was my third time in Ubud). Amazing view, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The food in the restaurant is good and not pricey (despite its slightly remote location/not so many options around they don’t charge you 3 times higher like many other hotels do). We also want to point out that the work of a gardener is great and the territory looks perfectly neat and beautiful. Rooms are also very well cleaned. So many thanks to the team 😊 All in all reality exceeded my expectations and I made a mistake not booking this place for the whole vacation 😊

Water in the swimming pool could be a bit warmer, but it’s a common situation with private pools in Bali plus it didn’t affect our stay.

GK Bali Resort is truly a hidden gem! Nestled away from the crowds, this resort exceeded all my expectations. The staff are outstanding—friendly and attentive, they made me feel comfortable and helped resolve all my inquiries! The rooms are beautifully designed and provide a perfect blend of comfort and style. Each morning, I enjoyed breakfast with a harmonious nature view that set the tone for my day. If i can rate more that 10, i would definitely do ⭐️ This place is a piece of heaven and is so far the best hotel i ever stayed in my life ❤️! 🌴 Located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rice terraces and tropical jungle, it was the perfect place to disconnect and to chill. And it is close to many sightseeing and nd activities and this made it very easy for us to move everywhereand to avoid the central ubud traffic jam. 🛖The rooms were amazinly settled with authentic decoration, very clean, very well equipped and the view was breathtaking. It is a also very very kids and baby friendly. 🍔The restaurant also was very good with a large variety of foods and drinks, and the quantities were bery generous. 🙏 A very special thank you to the very unique and outstanding staff that made us feel like home! You were always there with your smile, kindness, attention and generosity ❤️ Thanks for taking care of our babies and for playing with them all the time ! My wife and I recently returned to GK Bali Resort to celebrate our 2-year anniversary, and once again, it was perfect. This is hands down the best resort we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every single member of staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming - they go out of their way to make you feel at home, and it genuinely feels like they care about every guest’s experience. The resort itself remains just as beautiful and peaceful as we remembered. Nestled in the serene village of Sebatu, it's the perfect escape from the busier areas of Bali. The rooms are immaculate, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable - waking up to the view each morning is something special. The included breakfast and afternoon tea are highlights of the day. There’s a generous and delicious selection of both Indonesian and Western options, and the quality is consistently excellent. Dinner at the resort is also a great experience - the food is delicious and very reasonably priced, which is rare for a luxury resort like this. We couldn’t recommend GK Bali Resort more highly. It continues to exceed our expectations, and we already look forward to returning again in the future. A huge thank you to all the amazing staff who make this place so special.

This is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic jungle view . The room was absolutely perfect and comfortable The staff are so friendly, caring and cannot do enough to make your stay unforgettable. Everyone from reception, restaurant, cleaners and gardeners greet you with a warm smile and Balinese hospitality Breakfast was tasty with a great selection The coffee was delicious and the cocktails very tasty The swimming pool is very nice too I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others

The only thing is it is quite far from the center of Ubud , however the hotel do provide a free shuttle and grab is easy enough to get Ubud is a very busy with tourists and traffic so it was lovely to be away from that chaos

This is a little gem in quiet Sebatu with beautiful views onto a steep and lush valley. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves great food at very reasonable prices and the gardens are maintained to perfection. The infinity pool is stunning and quiet. The pretty Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple is at walking distance and the sights in Tampaksiring are around the corner - no traffic problems here!!

It shouldn’t be called a resort as it almost stopped us from booking this wonderful place. It has 8 immaculate rooms and 4 villas only - so peaceful!

Everything is perfect. I love how clean this place is, and how they designs the rooms. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is nice and clean, bathtub with big window is amazing. I really enjoy the views from everywhere in this place. My room was upstairs and had a nice balcony with very nice sofa. ( I got my room upgraded for free!!) I enjoyed breakfast everyday at my balcony and it was such a nice peaceful time. Breakfast has good selection too. They make good coffee! I’m from Melbourne and coffee is very important for me to start a day:) Yoga in the morning and dusk was so relaxing and nice to breeze fresh air in the middle of beautiful sights. I was a bit worried about mosquito as this place is in the middle of nature. But they do mosquito control entire of this resort every week, and I didn’t get bitten even once while I stayed there. My skin is very sensitive and I have got really bad experience in Malaysia before, so I was a bit nervous before. They are taking care of this place so well and I really appreciate for their service and hospitality, I had no stress at all and enjoyed every single moments. All of their staff are lovely. Always so attentive and trying to help me. I will definitely come back and recommend this place 100%!!!

I tried their massage once, it was my first night there. Actually considering the price and quality of massage, I prefer to go to take massage in Ubud central rather than taking it here.

I don’t have space here to write what I liked because it was just perfect. I traveled a lot during my life and stayed in many “big” hotels, but I never had the chance to see such a high level of details, it was simply amazing. The staff is going to the sky and back just for you to feel excellent, they are very well trained, smiling, respectful and kind. The location is an oasis of serenity in the middle of the jungle, away from Bali craziness but close enough to many attractions. We wanted peace & quiet and this is exactly what we found. It happened to me many times in the past to find the hotel different than the advertised pictures but GK is one of the rare cases where the reality is much better than expected or what can be seen in a picture. I also seen some difficult guests during our stay but the staff treated them respectfully and with a high level of profesionalism.

Compared with hundreds of stays in other very good hotels around the world, I simply cannot find something that I didn’t like at GK.

As someone with years of travel experience across Bali, I can confidently say this exclusive boutique hotel offers it all: breathtaking jungle and rice paddy views, a delicious restaurant with vegan, Indonesian, and Western options, and a stunning infinity pool. The spacious rooms are beautifully appointed with high-end amenities and thoughtful touches throughout. But what truly elevates this experience is the outstanding service from the entire GK Team. *Thank you* for making my stay so memorable – I can’t wait to return!

We had an incredible stay at GK resort, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The staff was genuinely warm, attentive, and carrying. They do everything they can to ensure every guest feels special and well-cared for. The food was really good, featuring a rich blend of local and international dishes, all deliciously prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was consistently top-notch, with prompt responses to any request and a seamless overall experience. Unfortunately, I was sick on my first day, but the staff took excellent care of me, arranging for a doctor to visit late at night. The level of care was exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the doctor's service was, especially compared to the high prices typically charged in the city for similar conditions. This level of support made all the difference in my recovery. The authenticity of the surrounding village added a unique charm to our visit. It felt like stepping back in time, with traditions and culture deeply embedded in daily life. The natural setting was equally stunning, offering lush landscapes, serene views. A perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation and cultural immersion not to far from Ubud. We were lucky to witness a traditional Balinese representation for Christmas, which was both unique and unforgettable. It beautifully showcased the local culture and made our holiday extra special.
