The Georgian Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel with lots of nice little touches throughout the property. It's like an Old Hollywood movie set. The location is absolute perfection with the beach directly in front and most everything in Santa Monica within walking distance. My room was beautifully decorated in Art Deco style and spacious with a very comfortable bed. I'm not a fan of hotel carpet so I loved the hardwood floors and area rug. There was also very little ambient noise outside my room. The staff were wonderful, from the welcome with a beverage at check-in to the restaurant staff to the bell staff. They couldn't do enough for you. I also want to give a big shout-out to Bliss Beach which I used via the hotel website to arrange a beach day -- it was the highlight of my trip and the perfect way to enjoy the beach. I booked the Little Lounge experience for a half day and I would've booked an entire day had I known how fantastic it would be. The main restaurant is on the veranda and terrace at the front of the hotel and is a lovely little oasis that takes full advantage of the hotel's location and views and serves delicious meals. I didn't get to visit the downstairs reservation-only bar/restaurant but I'll rectify that on my next stay.

I really only have minor quibbles about occasionally slow service at the restaurant and bar, due in part to the popularity of the hotel as a spot to see and be seen. The fitness center is small but not an afterthought--besides which, in a spot like Santa Monica with unbelievable weather/beaches you can get in plenty of exercise.

We loved everything about our stay, particularly the staff, the super comfortable beds, the decor, and the location. The little travel sized amenities and products provided were excellent quality. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the phenomenal band at the piano bar in The Georgian Room.

Only a minor inconvenience, was that the bathrooms were small - the shower area could stand to use a little wider window so the water wouldn’t splash out; and other than not having much counter space in the bathroom, it was a fabulous stay.

Location Bedroom was comfortable with two large beds although no tea/ coffee making facilities provided. Hot shower and great toiletries. Nancy our server was extremely friendly and efficient.

Communal areas were dimly lit and were too cold for our liking . The hostess at breakfast was rude . Costs are high compared to European standards . Requested a quiet room on two occasions prior to check in but was allocated a room next to the lift ..

The location was awesome. Our room looked over the beach. The staff are engaged, friendly and super helpful. The rose wine was delicious. The space with its art focus certainly appealed to us.

The rooms have a spartan deco focus which diminishes the luxury feel. There were far too many mini bar sale offerings (two trays and a fridge). I would have liked a jug, coffee, tea, and milk to have been in the room.

The property is exquisite! It is las if you stepped back into another era. The restaurants are wonderful! The staff is excellent.

I have to say that I have stayed at the Georgian many times. I feel that the staff is wonderful because I have known them from years gone by whenever I have stayed here-but rules and regulations create a stiffness, I liked the way they operated before, that is just my guess. I do not feel in any way that it is the fault of the staff, I think it is the way they were told to behave towards guests. I know professionalism is in order, but too much creates a divide-as I said a stiffness.

A cozy hotel with a beautiful interior in retro art deco style and a cozy atmosphere of the 20s. Every detail of the interior is well thought out and perfectly implemented.

Unfortunately, the restaurant menu is very meager. Breakfasts are great, but there is nothing to eat at other times, which is a pity. The salads offered during lunch were an absolute disappointment, and there was no hot food at all.

Everything exceeded my expectations. This hotel is a bucket list item from the art deco details to the perfect Santa Monica beach front location. Manager Tiffany Mirander went above and beyond to create the most amazing stay for my partner and I. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They offer cruisers to bike along the beach, the most amazing hidden speakeasy, and a view of the pier. In walking distance to the best restaurants and shopping, or take one of their beach towels and walk across one street to get to the beach. Just book it already!

I love this hotel, I always try and stay here after, just before I fly home, its a great place to unwind. The view from my room was a ocean view, which is amazing to watch the sunrise / sunset. The shower was great. Pressure just right! The staff and this hotel are really helpful and made great suggestions in regards to what I should do for the day

I cant think of anything I would change, it really is best place to stay

Wonderful decor. Great location. Attentive, pleasant staff. There is a Bell Boy on arrival in an amazing uniform. It’s like going back in time but with all the mod-cons!! Lovely little touches everywhere. Busy and popular!!

Nothing!! Had breakfast (which was great)…didn’t try evening dinner or the Speak Easy but seemed busy, so probably best to book!!
