Absolutely incredible experience! This resort is truly a gem — the location is stunning and beyond words. We celebrated a special occasion here and couldn’t have asked for a better place. We stayed for 4 nights, and everything was just perfect. The food was delicious every single day, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were always responsive, polite, and genuinely friendly. Their attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and special getaway. No complaints at all — every single day was outstanding!

The room was a little inconvenient, with few surfaces on which to place things. A work desk would be a welcome addition. The place is rather far from Lansdowne town, which is fine — the secluded location adds to the charm — but you need a car to get anywhere. We also faced some problems when the property suddenly informed us they had cancelled our stay even though my card was on hold for the full payment with booking.com. On arrival, though, their behaviour was warm and courteous.

I loved the peaceful and secluded location of The Woods Retreat — it felt like a perfect escape into nature. The property is beautifully maintained, with cozy cottages, scenic views, and lots of greenery around. The staff was very warm and attentive, and the food was also fresh and delicious. It’s an ideal place to relax and unwind, away from the city’s hustle.

While the overall experience was great, I felt the property could improve a bit on the Wi-Fi connectivity as it was too weak. Taking some important video calls is a challenge.

This was my most comfortable stay in recent times. The staff behaviour was excellent, the service was prompt and the views from the rooms were breathtaking. Nestled amongst the pine trees, the woods retreat offered excellent view of the himalayan range and the serenity of the surroundings was all that we could have asked for from our Lansdowne trip. Also this is a children friendly resort and my 3 year old had a lot of fun in the open lounge and kid's play arena.

The property was a delight to be at. We did reach around 7 in the morning but they accommodated us and took care of everything during the stay. The staff was polite, courteous and very friendly. They were also our local guides who helped us explore Lansdowne very comfortably and smoothly. The food was incredible with everything being cooked fresh and it tasted just like it would at home. Overall a excellent property and love people who run it.

Ideal location & scenic views. Rooms were spotless and the facilities were well maintained. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms with all necessary amenities. Friendly & efficient staff.

The hotel restaurant doesn’t have a diverse menu. We stayed there for two days and the buffet menu was same for BF/Lunch/Dinner. Some may not like the pahadi food taste.

The manager & the guy at the reception (i didn't ask his name,didn't like talking to him seeing his expressions) both looked arrogant
