Beautiful place, very nice decor, golf course and the food was excellent!

The seemed understaffed, there was nobody at the swimming pool to help put out the tan bed mattress, towels, the club house’s outside seating was dirty, and not cleaned were previously people sat, we had Christmas eve dinner at the Clubhouse because the function was already fully booked, there were no music or atmosphere, asked if they could play some music for us and the waiter put the tv on. Just disappointed because there is so much potential but needs some management to step up the training

I think the hotel was good but missed some important things important for hosting like guest robes, slippers, vanity kits. I would expect them to have these sorted. Also had to request for water to be put in my room- perhaps this was an oversight. I do appreciate that they gave me an early check in! And a room closer to the bride and the groom as I was attending a wedding. This helped with making setting up easy.

The staff was super friendly(From the receptionist,ladies at the spa,waitresses, up to the cleaning ladies) and oooh my word,the bed was super comfortable.The environment was so relaxing and quiet.Definitely coming back again.Thank you so much

Well not a dislike per se but the inside shower drainer was not working properly as a result it got a bit flooded.As soon as we told the Receptionist,it was quickly fixed so thank you so much.

The facilities were superb. The staff gave us a good welcome. The ambience in the room was relaxing. The animals also gave us a good welcome.

The breakfast was bad. Only bacon eating people were catered for. Muesli was the only thing available. Breakfast menu had few choices, that is was limited. If you wanted to exchange it was at an extra cost., And also the stay was a bit overpriced. Also no one told us prior that the restaurant was closed on the 24th for dinner.

A really wonderful find and if we ever find ourselves in that area again we will be certain to return. This is a truly wonderful establishment.

The pizza requires work and was the only thing that let the kitchen down. So, too, was the misunderstanding in instructions/requests with reception, but mostly great!

The food was nice and the staff was friendly

the only problem was tunning the channels ion the TV. it was extremely difficult and i wanted to watch the news badly but for the whole weekend that i was there , i couldnt watch the news, if choosing a channel could be made simpler then that would complete the wonderful stay at Olivewood Hotel ..........Also i wish there could be an easy paved way through the lawn from the hotel rooms to the Conference centre and you didnt have to go right around

Excellent breakfast, appreciated the ciabatta and marmalade! But no-one offered coffee of tea......maybe we had to get it ourselves?

The floor in the room wasn't clean - personally didn't like the low basin in the bathroom or the hand towel hangar, nor the bath, but the outdoor shower was fantastic in the hot weather.

The room and linen was neat and clean. Very friendly staff. I only enjoy friendly faces — from the front desk to the room service

The baby crib had what looked like mould stains on it. There was also a small spider when we lifted the mattress to check underneath. The baby ended up sleeping on the bed with us. This was the only issue I had.

Olivewood is a very peaceful, lovely and aesthetically pleasing place to go to, super clean and the staff was also very friendly and their service is top tier. Their beds are super comfortable and the room decor looks very luxurious. The breakfast was delicious and is included in your booking which is very convenient. Its a very nice place if you need some quiet time away for yourself or for you and your partner.

Staff was friendly. The location was secluded. The room was clean. The outside shower was inspiring. The bathroom was spacious. Animals roaming around peacefully. Overall very good.

The instruction to dine at a seperate venue for breakfast must be made clear at check in.
