Rustic charm with modern conveniences. Quiet tranquil garden overlooking a riverside with wonderful range of birds viewed. Room facilities are good and has excellent hot water in a spacious shower. Breakfast offers a good array of choices and was tasty each time. Rooms were clean and tidy with excellent wifi and facilities seemed to have substantial solar backup.

Main light cum fan in bedroom only has 1 switch thus fan only works when light is on. Ideally fan should be able to operate on its own.

Breakfast was so so good!!! The rooms out of this world!!! But more than anything the Hospitality of the Host I first called Anthony to ask if I can arrive earlier than the check in time because of Flight schedule he agreed with a great smile. Brent during the whole stay I wish I had the right words!!! They are so caring and very generous!!! Brent answered all my calls and special requests like needing the braai stand oh!! He even assisted His the best. On my second day we decided to extend and they assisted us on that. The rooms are spacious and the tranquility of the whole site. Quiet and if you are a calm waters you can see the river! Aaarh!! Definitely will come back!!

I liked everything, the rooms very nice and big, clean and stylish. I liked the private front sitting area on each room. I loved the sitting place by the pool. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Mosquitos are too much. I didn't like the fact that there was no protection from mosquitos like lace on windows or the bed. Also there should be a warning on advert so people can come with the repellant. I don't like that there is limited options on what to watch. Maybe they can add Netflix.

The staff was so kind and helpful. I am pregnant, and they upgraded our room without any additional charge to a room with aircon and a private patio area without us asking. Breakfast was really nice and is served very fast so you can move on with your day. Perfect place to stay if you need to do some work online , because they have fast internet. Very short drive away from Beacon Bay, but outside of the busy city.We will be making this our home if we need to do business in East London.

I loves everything. The staff were great and the two gentlemen at reception were exceptional. It was one of our best Holidays ever. Everyone working there were friendly helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. I loved every day of the 7 days we spend there. Thank you for making our holiday great, you as the staff made it great for us as a family we loved every moment and every second. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff, everyone is friendly and seems genuinely happy to be there. Nothing was too much bother or effort, and my daughter and I were made to feel comfortable at all times. We were in East London for a swimming competition and they even arranged early breakfasts for us. The gardens, pool and views are just beautiful, and the property is well maintained. Thank you for making this such a wonderful stay for us, we will most definitely be back again when in East London again, you guys are just awesome.

Nothing, everything was great

The place itself is fantastic. Its away from the beachfront but backs onto a river with some great views. I stayed in the Riverfront suite, and its impossible to reasonably find fault. Once booked in, it was an absolute pleasure and I will re-use on all trips to the area. I bumped into the owner on leaving and he was v appreciative of the feedback, which I believe he will address.

The check-in was done thru booking.com and there was some glitches. The check-in time on the booking.com site says 9pm - but after booking was made, was told its 7pm, which someone kindly extended to 8pm. Booking.com sent me messages asking how was the place, 1 day before I stayed there.

Breakfast menu option was standard with a variety of options. The location of the bed and breakfast is ideal. Not too close to the city center yet central and easily accessible. The room was basic, with bed and shower facilities. The storage was abundant.

We had to request fresh towels after a few days. The issue was sorted speedily. Guests towels should be changed daily. Cleaning under beds and in higher shelving spaces should be done too.

Fish eagle manor is honestly so so beautiful ! I loved everything about this place. The staff are amazing thank you so much for being so kind and accommodating. The view from the river view suite is absolutely breathtaking. The sounds of nature and the fact that it’s so quiet is really good for your mental health. Would 100% recommend this place for a breather away from busy city life. Everything about this place is so peaceful & perfect.

I think the ladies cleaning the rooms should put more effort. There was dirt on the kettle, bird poop , she came and cleaned and it was still there. The net on the microwave was not touched yet it had some dirt. The glasses are not cleaned well. Just proper cleaning would do
