We stayed here as we wanted to dive, and the dive instructors are excellent. The room is very comfortable. there is excellent snorkeling right in front of the hotel.

It’s a bit far from anything else to do on the island, and the beach is quite rocky so it’s a challenging place to just hang out. I wouldn’t recommend staying longer than two or three nights if you’re planning to do anything else besides dive. Be extra wary of sand flies at dusk. We were traveling with a five-year-old and I wouldn’t say this particular area is very kid friendly due to the beach conditions and the lack of a swimming pool.

Just not much good food around at ABC. Need to travel to another site. Also no duty free shop. Lucky duve centre have bar at night.

The location and accommodation were both good. It was a neat corner room, there were some ants but it was okay. I stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights and they cleaned the room on the second day. Restaurants and bars nearby, and an office deck in front are convenient.

However, taxis and motorcycles from the port to the resort are very expensive. Cataferries do not stay at ports close to the resort. So we paid 10 ringgit per person, but they didn't tell us in advance that we would get double the money for two types of transportation. Other than that everything was good.

We loved our stay at the Resort. We went for just a mini vacation to relax and snorkel. The 7 minute walk down from the ferry dock is not difficult as it is similar to a sidewalk, so easy to pull a wheeled suitcase. Just walk to the end of the dock, turn left and it's on the main path. Well labelled and easy to find. The whole staff at Tioman Dive are so friendly, and when you went into your immaculate room with the air conditioning already on; it was just perfect. It's the little details that we love so much. Love the hammocks. The snorkel equipment to rent was the cheapest on the island and in the water directly in front of reception is an amazing reef. We saw a reef shark, lots of different kinds of coral and fishes. It was wonderful. The bar and surrounding restaurants had excellent food. We explored and walked down to the pizza place and it was fabulous. The staff even directed us towards another place when we inquired about kayak rentals at sunset. The wifi in the room was our only negative. The booking said there was Wi-Fi in the rooms but it's very spotty. Even our cellular service kept dropping. To have consistent connection you'd have to go down towards the lobby. Not ideal when you are responding to emails or have two teenagers in tow but we survived ;).

Stayed here for a short trip and loved it. The rooms were clean and well-kept, and the location was excellent — just a short walk to the scuba diving training centre and the jetty. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend to divers or anyone wanting easy access to the island’s main activities.

Big, clean and comfortable rooms, really friendly and helpful staff, nice areas to chill out and have a drink, love the location as it's away from the main town area and much quieter and more secluded. Many restaurants & convenience stores nearby. Although TDR is essentially listed as a place for scuba divers, it's also suitable for non-divers who just want a nice relaxing getaway. Five days felt too short, that's how nice it is!

The beachfront area here is very rocky and not suitable for any leisure beach activities, however, sandy beaches are within walking distance. Renting a bicycle for rm5 or moped for rm20 an hour is highly recommended to get around, especially if you want to visit the main town of Tekek, and there are numerous places providing this service in the area. Many local businesses have closed down due to the pandemic, but for some reason are still listed as "open" on Google maps.

Pillows! There was one in the room that was comfortable enough to sleep on but all the rest were too large and overstuffed - neck ache territory. This is literally my only complaint about the stay however so overall it was a fantastic experience.

Rooms were clean, cool and with great showers. Staff were friendly and we loved the quieter location on the island. Lots of food options around and only a short walk to the jetty, which is via a concrete path so not difficult even with bags. Even though we didn't dive we booked a snorkeling trip through the office which was excellent.

Some of the staff members werent very nice .. the beach is rocky but thats our fault we didnt do a proper research.. if you are after beaches I recommend the next beach Salang. More chilled vibes but it’s also more quiet and completely dead in off season.. B&J hotel is the only place that has a bar with alcohol.. overall all ok but we were disappointed with the beach

The room was perfect. Very comfortable bed, everything clean and working as it should, warm or cold shower,situated slightly further back from the main island pathway (so nice and quiet)
