The cleanest, most comfortable place we stayed the entire visit to Alaska. Kitchenette was completely furnished with everything we wanted. The grocery store across the street and restaurants near by. The first thing we saw was a bear in the grocery parking lot. The little museum had a fantastic display in chilkoot weaving and designs. Better than Juneau or Sitka. The cab didn't start until after the time we had to be at the dock for our transportation, so the manager got up very early to help us make our boat departure. This place is amazing!!!!! Great town with great people.

I've stayed here twice now and really like how clean it is. Prices are reasonable given the options for places to stay in Haines. Parking is never a problem which is super nice. Definitely will be staying here again for future trips.

The building is locked at the front which can make check in difficult since you don't have a key card to open the door prior to check in. The reception area also seems to lock a gate quite often, which also makes check in difficult if you have to wait for them to return.

It was very clean and quiet.

As a tea drinker I'm always looking for a place in the morning to get hot water. There was a hot water carafe in the lobby but the lobby was closed (gated) until 8 am, so I couldn't have tea first thing. Also we only had one packet of (caffeinated) coffee for a two day stay for two people. But otherwise everything was great.

Nice having the kitchenette to cook meals.

I do not like surprise fees. When I book a hotel I always say I have a dog. Total on my booking should include the pet fee. I was charged after the fact for the dog. One of the staff members was going to reduce fee (because I stated I had a pet at booking), but the other then charged me. I'm not arguing pet fees, I am arguing if you are given a total fee for stay, there should not be a "surprise" fee of $80.

found bed too soft. arrived 45 minutes before check in after 4 hour ferry ride and denied room at that time. only after asking them to watch our bags did we receive the room.

The room was very good, spacious, comfortable and really clean. Lots of parking, efficient kitchenette, and comfortable bed. Although our room was on the Main Street side of the hotel, it was quiet. We didn’t take advantage of other amenities, but noticed a laundry room.

Because this is a suite hotel, the front desk person was not always at the desk. That meant a short wait when we checked in as we waited for the desk clerk to show up. There is a cell and phone number if needed.

We loved the proximity to everything intown, and the spaciousness of the room and the kitchenette. The bed was most comfortable,

The only criticism might be the blackout curtains for a June stay were not as great as they could be, but we slept well non the less.

Great price, very comfortable, large room with kitchenette. Really amazing to get all that for the price I paid. I only stayed 1 night and didn’t spend much time at the hotel but it is always a good sign when the stay was so comfortable that you wish you stayed longer.

Getting in and out of the parking lot was a little sketchy because of the rather large potholes. Also no dishsoap to wash and reuse my dishes

The room was exceedingly clean and spacious. Full kitchen, two burner cook top, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes and coffee was provided. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby. The location is a walkable distance to the downtown area.

Wonderful room. Spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. Good WiFi. Full kitchen was handy. It was an easy walk to Haines attractions.
