High beds, very comfortable, room gave a sort of a cabin type of room. Big tv, wi-fi worked well. If I had know more as to what the place like, we would driven right through Haines Juction to Haines , Alaska and stay here a few days instead of overnight. Then we could see a bit more of the area. We were here just overnight, and then catching the Ferry from Haines to Skagway the next day.

Breakfast provided before we got on the road saved us a lot of time.

At first we were assigned a room with one double bed in a small room on the lower level, while we've asked for two beds at reservation time months ago, after we pointed this out to reception, we got a much better room, roomier and more comfortable, two beds, and located at street level, we were satisfied with the service.

The views from our room, the breakfast room, and the balcony were incredible! Our room was well appointed with a table and chairs, nightstands on both sides of the bed, a fridge with a freezer, a closet, and a full bathroom. The continental breakfast was about what you’d expect, but I did appreciate the hard boiled eggs. The staff were helpful and kind. The location is wonderful for walking around Haines and going out the road to explore.

The bed was a little soft and concave in the middle. The walls were a tad thin; we could hear someone talking on the phone in the room next to us the first afternoon we were there, but it wasn’t a problem after that.

A bit rustic but kept very clean. Bed was comfy. Microwave snd fridge handy for us travelers who were road tripping (which were most of us). Loved that the host opened continental breakfast early and it had hard boiled eggs, cheese, yoghurt, applesauce and more. Plus paper bags. Perfect for grab n go. We had hundreds of miles ahead of us and this was very thoughtful!! The local Mountain Market had great food items we picked up to eat in (those Indian Food Bites) and deli items.

Someone in next room took a looong bath and used up the hot water! Arghh. Ah well. Sponge bath time for us.

Nice outlook to the water and mountains, very friendly and helpful staff including transfer from and to the ferry terminal. Close to restaurants cafes supermarket etc. Nice breakfast

Easy to find. Convenient motel parking.

There was supposed to be a key for our room in a lockbox. It was not there when we arrived at 3:00 AM. Another couple had already called the manager. As it turned out we ended up with a more suitable room for our motorcycle parking. So All worked out in the end. The manager was very pleasant which really helped. Price is a little high for what you get.

Breakfast was outstanding and room had a great view. Your from desk personnel were very friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions as to fishing and local breweries.

Would have been nice if your bar open/in servicre

The space was nice, clean, and very comfortable. We had access to Netflix. The continental breakfast was great, and had good protein options. There wasn't much open in town, as we came through in winter, but it was close to the open restaurant and folks in town were welcoming and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay.

Teri the housekeeper, Kathi the registrar, Greg the driver were all absolutely super and treated us like family friends. Teri, especially, is the hardest working, most conscientious housekeeper I have ever encountered. The view from our was just incredible!

Overnight lights left on interfered with appreciation of dawn over the lake.

The room was very cozy with a good view over the water

Not much, but the female receptionist appeared incredibly rude on our departure. No eye contact, barely acknowledged we were there, and ignored questions. Left a bad last impression.
