I have had the pleasure of staying in over 100 hostels around the world, but I must say this one stands out as one of the absolute best. The cleanliness here is impeccable, and the recent renovations are a perfect 10 out of 10. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, making for an incredibly comfortable and pleasant stay. What truly sets this hostel apart are the owners. They organized a fantastic meet-and-greet evening for all the guests, complete with drinks and delicious food. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow travelers in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Moreover, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The common areas are cozy and well-maintained, and the facilities are top-notch. Whether you are traveling solo or with friends, this hostel provides a perfect blend of comfort, community, and fun. In conclusion, if you are looking for a place that combines exceptional cleanliness, outstanding facilities, and a welcoming community spirit, look no further. I visited in the Autumn, during week. Everything was very relaxing. The fact that you can check in until late hours is excellent, specially if you are traveling and want to make the most of your trip and not be worried about time. Very close to the Bauhaus museum. 10 min from the Hbf

If your bedroom is towards the main street, gets a bit noisy early in the morning because of the car traffic. I guess is more the city to blame for this as they should do more to take traffic away from city center. Or make them drive slower to reduce the rolling noise.

Checking in and out was fully online and easy to follow! The location is great, it is near the central station, as well as the city center with bars, rests, and shops .

The people who were with me they were loud and didn't respect that this is a shared room and not their personal bedroom, they kept the lights on all night, they made loud noise after when it was 1 am, and because there is no staff, you can't complain about this.

The hostel is in a very good and central location. You can easy walk all the attractions of Dessau and have shops nearby. The room was nice and clean and the bed comfy. You have a common kitchen, laundry and parking (7€). It was very convenient to access everything without needed staff.

We couldn’t find the proposed free parking in the street but than opt in easy for the parking on site :)

All of the facilities are top-notch and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable as well as having spacious rooms with adequate secure lockers. The rooms are comfortable and well-designed. The kitchen space is also top-notch and amongst the best I’ve seen in any hostels in Germany. Great laundry facilities and having the Management available 24/7 really makes a difference

I stayed in a single room so I don’t know how the dormitory rooms are, but the single room was pretty clean, stylish and comfortable. There were two towels(small & large), even a hair dryer and TV. Also the room smelled nice. Online checkin system was really efficient because you don’t have to worry about your delay or any changes on your plan.

As someone already said, there is no door between shower and toilet space so the floor of bathroom can be wet. But not that bad if you care about it and it can be dried soon thanks for ventilation.

Good location. Comfortable room. They have lockers you can use to store luggage if you arrive too early or want to stay a little longer after checking out. The location is right next to the bauhauss museum. guests kitchen is nice and has a nice balcony to have your coffee

The PIN code lock for the room was tricky to learn to use. But eventually it worked fine.

Great location within 5 min. walking distance of train station. Great staff, normally it's a self-checkin hotel, but I got to meet one of the managers. I got an upgrade to a a double room (arguably a Genius program perk but much appreciated). The room had a fully equipped bathroom for the disabled, which is so rare in Germany I have to commend the host for the extra investment. I paid about 40-45 Euro for the night last minute, for that price obviously a steal and 10 out of 10!

The hostel was very quiet which was just what I needed at the time. Rooms are spacious and the hostel has all the facilities you need. It's location is perfect as its walkable distance from the train station and a stone's throw away from the Bauhaus museum and Tourist information center where you can rent bikes for a very good price - which I highly recommend especially if you wanna visit all the Bauhaus buildings.

Check-in is completely online (you receive a text message with code to unlock the door etc.) which is handy but also feels a bit impersonal.

Very good hostel. Excellent facilities including laundry on the ground floor. Very convenient location, just round from the Bauhaus museum and helpful post office. Quiet area. Close to station, well 10 min walk. Staff attentive and helpful when we had a problem with the cooker in the kitchen...it was addressed straight away. Made to feel very welcome at the hostel.

The women's shower didn't have any privacy and was overlooked by a transparent window which had no blind or curtain....would be an easy to fix.
