Weird smell in the lobby and on the towels Very thin walls (I was woken by a person leaving the hotel at 5 am, but that person was pretty loud as well)

Nice room, quiet, good heating (important in stormy autumn weather), great breakfast, close to the national park and to the local busses. There is a bit to walk upphill from the station but you can walk the main pedestrian street all the way and stop for coffee if you wish. From the hotel you easily reach the "seilbahn" which takes you up on Burberg, and the tree-top-walk (baumwipfelpfad). You can walk into the mountains or you can take a bus e.g. to Rabenklippe and then walk back. You'll find good suggestions for walks on "Alltrails".

We have stayed in this hotel before and would stay again we love bad harzburg and its very close to the cable car. A bit of walk to the town and train station but not a problem for 71 year old. The breakfast is really very good and lots if choice it was my birthday while staying in this hotel and went to breakfast to find table all decorated with chocolates and small bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise we would recommend to use this hotel if staying in bad harzburg

Great breakfast and suitable times for it. Super location: thermals is just few minutes walk; several restaurants near the hotel; easy to find and good to reach with any kind of transport. Room is just OK for a short stay. Warm inside

Hotel is a bit old, so rooms are also a bit old looking, the bed was fine, windows were getting wet on the inside, bathroom a bit uncomfortable, but in general quite a good place for the price

Friendly helpful staff. Quiet comfortable clean room. Ample off road safe parking next to the hotel. Marvelous setting on the river that flows through town. Scrumptious breakfast included in the price.

Not easy to find as it is called Hotel Germania on the road sign boards in town and Regiohotel am Kurpark Bad Harzburg on the booking confirmation. Googlemaps has Regiohotel Germania, which is also different to the booking confirmation name.

The hotel is located right in the city centre, but easily accessible with the car. You can park your car on the parking at the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was ideal for two, and the bathroom seems recently renewed.

The bathroom itself can be a little small.

Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff wonderfully helpful. Location splendid, yet still it was quiet at night. Loved the sound of the creek flowing right outside the window.

The only minor inconvenience was that the shower could have been bigger.

Sauna area was a bit chilly Our room was subject to sounds of staircase walking, we also heard various sounds from another room (carpets might help?), Luckily the other guests adhered to normal sleeping hours

The location is at city center, there‘s a small river next to the hotel, so I can hear the lovely water stream from my room. The breakfast has a lot of option.

The room is a little bit smelly, they need to air the room more often.
