The Staff were extremely helpfull on check -in and helped with our luggage and gave us information on the restaurant times, which was in the Protea hotel next door. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.

I thought I booked a room overlooking the river as that was an option but we got the main street view. We decided to leave it at that. We ordered ice which took about 30 minutes for the waiter to come and give us wine glasses and tell us he didn't have ice. He would go get it across the road. After another 10 minutes we decided to go across ourselves and passed the waiter in the street with our ice. He was obviously preoccupied even though the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast started a bit late for us.

There was a couple next to us who were fighting... even though we called the reception area to come and assist, they did not come immediately. The fight went on and on to a point of us calling again. That was very traumatic for the kids and very disturbing because it was late at night.. 👎👎 It seems as if they were having a party, they were making a lot of noise with their friends. we couldn't fall asleep. Then when we went to Zest restaurant for dinner we were so disappointed with their new menu.. we were very disappointed and ended up leaving for takeaways.

The Oasis is centrally located, which made check-in easy and seamless. They requested a copy of my driver's license and verified the booking on Booking.com, and that was it. The breakfast provided was good, served buffet-style, and included options for eggs prepared by the Chef. The check-out process was also easy. We packed the car between the hotel and its neighbouring hotel, and it was safe.

There is a need to upgrade the TV for good quality of those attending business meetings.

The breakfast was ok. The staff was very friendly. What was a concern is the fact that there were limited items. Like the plates were not filled. I ate at approximately 9 am and there were 1muffin, 1 Danish, hardly any cheese etc. It seemed to me that the hotel tried to keep cost at a minimal.

Apart from the above, I was completely satisfied.

Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful, everything was very clean and well kept, hotel had a great central location in the Town, you were close to all the attractions in Upington.

I didn't like our room view, I thought the hotel was quite quite and could have located us with a river view room instead of a street view. I thought they were also missing a bar.

Staff went all out to make sure our needs were taken care of. From late check in, late dinner and early breakfast packs which were ready at the agreed time. The facility itself was great value for money. We had a family room for a family of 4.

I was a little uneasy about parking area but I was given all assurances that it was safe.

The breakfast offered was exceptional and we were served by an attentive and happy team. We have stayed here previously and enjoy the facilities as well as the welcome received by the reception team as well as Elton who engaged with us whilst assisting us with our luggage.

The only negative I have was reported on my previous stay but I found it the same on this trip, is that the window sills outside the room should be swept clean of bird poo, it might not be an easy job but it's unsightly.

Thank you for the room upgrade (without additional costs), much appreciated. I've visited the Oasis several times and it just gets better and better with each visit. Friendlies of the front desk and breakfast personnel top of the range, keep it up ladies and gents, we see your efforts and it is much appreciated👌.

The hotel itself looks really good. The lift fits the aesthetic. The breakfast was very good. Room is spacious enough. Overall great value for money . The bathroom is really beautiful and clean as well.

The WiFi does tend to be slow at times and this is a real inconvenience.

The breakfast was great, with a nice selection to choose from. The staff were equally great, all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable.

With it being a weekend, the noise from the street, unfortunately, was very loud way into the night.
