We loved the breakfast. We are Americans though and we are used to a little more hearty meat at breakfast but there was still a really great selection. The breads and butter were amazing. We are still dreaming of the brioche and jams. The juice was delicious. I appreciated the hard boiled eggs and that there was enough food offered to feel that you could eat all that you wanted with plenty to share for the other hotel guests. It was all very beautifully and festively displayed as well. The man at the front desk was so welcoming and thoughtful. I wanted to film some of the hotel for my mother, who has always dreamed of coming to France. He made sure all the twinkle lights were on for the video and pictures. The cleaning staff were so thoughtful and kind. I genuinely believe this hotel staff should be the representatives of France. They were so welcoming and kind!

There was nothing that we did not like. I will say that being able to slice the brie/soft cheese was a little challenging with the way it was all set up. That is not really a complaint though. We felt spoilt and happy. As for the shower, my only complaint is that it is a little dark in there and an extra light would be nice. The room was plush and PERFECT. ❤️

We slept one night in a triple room located on the second floor. The staff was very welcoming and always nice during our stay. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast too. They gave us a room with an outstanding landscape view. We went to Dambach-la-ville by foot and tasted wines. We walked through the several paths in the vineyards. Very nice short stay! Children are welcomed. We had a very nice experience here and we will consider to come back and explore better the area!

It’s true. We agreed on other reviews stating that the bathroom in the room should be renovated. For one night we don’t think it was a huge problem!

Efficient reception - very friendly and welcoming. Decoration in the hotel is very traditional and quirky which is what we like. Location is very handy for visiting Dambach. Room had a nice view over the vineyards and was a decent size. Dinner and breakfast were both good and reasonably priced. Have stopped here three times before and have never been disappointed

The room was OK, nothing special but for one stop provided what was needed. Dinner in the 'inhouse' restaurant typical German (which is not a surprise, since here we are in German territory that actually belongs to France), heavy food in big quantities. Breakfast not bad, but badly organised (maybe this is the French touch), buffet type but queue for everything.

The room was about 100 euros, but finally we paid well over 200 with the simple dinner and the breakfast for two.

The athmosphere and the decoration was beautiful and charming. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The loction is nice and the food was good.

that the smoke of the neighbours cigarettes came through my open window... and I had to have the windows opened because of the heat. While sitting on the terrass for dinner, it was not so lovely to have a view on the bins ... maybe some greenery could hide this?

Central location to explore Alsace area Friendly staff It was my wife’s 60th birthday and enjoyed an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant - thank you chef!

Hotel couldn’t do anything about the weather😟

The room was quiet and spacious, the hotel is charming and the location is nice, close to the highway but not too close either. Good stop over going south and great value for money!

The food in general is not exceptional, portions are generous but the quality is quite average. The bathroom of our room could need a bit of refreshing and the big shower head was leaking (only the small one was functional).

The place is designed with lots of thoughts that created a very good atmosphere. The location is excellent for “star tours” to visit Alsace area. Between Strasburg and Colmar. Located in a small village sounded with wine-yards. You can walk around in the beautiful nature.

The bed was too hard for me. Breakfast was ok, including cheese sausages fruit. But, You have to wait in a queue for rhe coffee machine…

Bed was a little hard, restaurant was a little pricey but we were at the end of our budget but would have liked to try it.

The location was great. It is on the wine route in the middle of the vineyards.

The shower is a little small. But overall a great property
