The hotel looked a bit run-down from the outside. Do not let that put you off. It’s just quirky, which takes nothing away from the fact that we had a wonderful stay at this very welcoming and friendly atmosphere hotel. The beers were lovely, the food fantastic and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable indeed.

The first impression from the roadside. But, as said before, do NOT let this put you off, in any way. We all really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed on two separate nights, as we were travelling around the area. The first room was nice and spacious, the second room was slightly smaller, but still fine. The food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. Attentive staff in reception and during breakfast. We were able to park our two motorbikes in the onsite parking garage for free.

Our rooms were on the second floor, and there is no elevator. Worth keeping in mind if you are disabled or have a lot of luggage. The room we had on our second night was very warm and humid, and there was no airco. We had the window open, and there was a lot of chatter from the beer garden below. Both rooms faced towards the traintracks which meant frequent low key noise from passing trains. The attention from the waiting staff in the restaurant was lacking.

Very kind host and excellent breakfast! Good location for the football ⚽ TSG Hoffenheim! And Aircraft Museum!

Excellent dinner off menu -- Pork Medallions and Rump Roast. The beer was nicely chilled. quaint town for an evening stroll. Breakfast was included and regionally typical.
