The space, kitchen, laundry in unit

AC was clogged because started leaking so we turned off - master bedroom. I think they need to maintain appliances. And pools are runned down. They need to upgrade and make the pool funner. Kids say it’s boring.

Units and grounds were clean, comfortable, & quiet. We had a party of 10 and booked 2 units. Our units were in the same building, right next to each other. All keys worked for both units. This worked out great for us. The wristbands they provided for unlocking doors pools etc, also we’re great. Much better than trying to fish for a key card (which they also provided). We found the parking to be easy and didn’t mind the walk to the parking garage and when we had a load to carry, the bellmen were really helpful. We enjoyed the Keiki hula (and I enjoyed the free Mai Tai). We used a pool a couple of times and enjoyed it. Used the grill one evening. Took advantage of some of the items provided for guest use (boogie boards, chairs). All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable for what we got.

The front desk staff were always helpful, when checking out beach gear or board games. They really exceeded our expectations when they allowed us to store luggage after check-out and shower before a red-eye. That was unexpectedly generous and made such a difference in elevating our overall stay at Holua Resort. Overall we were very happy with the resort. The parking garage was a bit of a walk from the villas but our 2 bedroom unit was incredibly spacious. We liked having several different pools/hot tubs within a short distance from our unit. We didn't use the kitchen for a lot of cooking, mostly heating up prepared food or for simple breakfast and lunches to go. Within 5 minutes is a convenience store and several reasonable-priced casual restaurants, which were great for dinner. HAving a washer & dryer in the room was very helpful too. There are over 12 new pickleball courts at the Holua Resort that were very popular. We did not use them because we spent most of our time exploring the different beaches on the Big Island and snorkeling but it did seem like a big draw for other visitors. It was very quiet and relaxing on the property.

You were not allowed to hang towels/swim suits on the patios outdoors so we had to hang everything on kitchen chairs and door knobs to dry, since the bathrooms didn't have hooks or towel bars. I don't know what other people do. Seems weird not to have a clothes line or drying rack outside for wet gear at the beach.

We were fortunate enough to be given an earlier check-in, which we appreciated travelling with two toddlers! The apartment was so much bigger than depicted in the photos, it was great to have so much space. The apartment was clean and functional. We stayed near one of the pools, great access and clean. Everyone respected the noise restriction hours. We were fortunate to be located near the carpark. Gardens are immaculate and staff were very friendly.

Its comfortable and relaxing. My ohana and I can come together on special occasions here. Mahalo to Kalei for the special attention to details regarding special handicap needs. Our ohana was very pleased with our location on property. Mahalo plenty 🌺

Pools and jacuzzi was dirty with bugs, understandable because we had bad weather come through.

they organized some shows for the guest, quite sweet. the room has everything you need, a good kitchen and big living room! nearby the resort there is a food truck market, also nice to go see around!

The room is although so clean, but we found a big cockroach in the bathroom. quite scary but everything else is good!

Lots of space. All areas were clean. Furnishings were comfortable. Landscaping was very nice and well kept.

The condo was two floors. This was difficult for a few of our guests. I would suggest that the resort list the fact that their condos are two floors on their website. I looked over the whole website before booking, but didn't see anything that addressed the issue of stairs. If this informatgion is on the website, it was not easy to access. It would be better for your resort to make that known.

The townhouse was very very clean for an older resort. We liked the layout and view of the golf course.The towels and sheets were crisp and clean. Staff was very helpful.

It's a small thing, but it would be nicer if the lawn was tended to. It looks neglected and a bit dried out. The other landscaping was nice though. Also the lights at night are way too dim.

Really spacious (an apartment for 4-6 persons would comfortably work) and also all necessities were included (like detergent, soap, even small amount of ground coffee) Close to Keahou harbor which is great for snorkeling trips Also good options to eat outside of Kona city Centre or get snacks for a day trip (KTA supermarket)

Absolutely nothing ! Even though bath and kitchen look a little dated, everything worked and was clean 👌

We appreciated a complimentary late check out (12pm instead of 10am). Staff was super helpful and promptly attended to a few special requests we had. Parking was ample.

The location has several small pools. Home this is offers a more intimate feel, the pools themselves are not all that comfortable—they lack sufficient shade options And have very small deck areas.
