We enjoyed being met by the hosts and shown to our accommodation as we arrived at night. We stayed only the one night and our experience thereof met our expectations of it being spacious & equipped with what one would need for a short overnight stay. We will be installing a support handle in our shower at home also :) As hosts would generally spend a lot of money and care on the inside of their accommodation, this accommodation's garden was jawdropping beautiful and the ornaments quite enjoyable to look at. Thank you for a lovely overnight stay!

Our shower water splattered onto the tiles, past the absorbent mat. We had to place one of the towels on the floor to absorb this so that we do not fall accidentally. We suggest a shower door. With regards to mosquitoes, we suggest the apparatus you plug-in at an electricity outlet in the room that takes tablets to kill mosquitoes.

Excellent. Lovely spot for an overnight stay between CPT and JHB. Private and secure parking. The unit consists of 3 rooms. One is a very neat bathroom (consisting of shower, basin toilet) Room2 - 2 single beds (with electric blankets.) and kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle and wash-up sink. Third room with a double bed (electric blanket) , Aircon/heater, TV and DSTV

Have stayed here before and overall a nice experience. All was good and I was satisfied with all that was presented. Will stay here again.

Maybe little more flexible with book in times. As most people that stay here are traveling, sometimes you are an hour early and would like to book in. Specially if the room is not occupied. Also check out times should remain as what is on the website and not change with a note against the fridge that check out is an hour earlier due to busy season.

It is convenient and clean. We were given a bigger room than the last time we stayed and it was much appreciated as my son could be in his own space.

There were only two bags of Rooibos tea. We arrived late and left early so didn’t want to disturb the owners. But we would’ve appreciated some tea in the morning which wasn’t available.

We liked the location (couldn't hear the N1 traffic), the beds, the tasty rusks and the shower. The host was very friendly and welcomed us personally late in the evening. The rooms had aircons, dimmable lights and fans. Check-out was very easy when we left early the following morning. We will definitely stay here again.

The host was extremely accommodating with our late check-in, and the location is in a peaceful area. The unit is well-equipped and features a comfortable bed. Complimentary coffee and milk were provided, and the parking is secure, conveniently located right in front of the unit.

It’s a bit set back from the main road, which makes it very quiet.

We like the king size bed. They also have electric blankets to keep you warm in the cold weather. It also has a very convenient location close to the freeway for onward travel with safe onsite parking. We also love the breakfast rusks that they leave in the kitchen.

The room with king size bed is not always available and difficult to select when booking online.

Karin contacted us while still on the way to give us directions. She met us on arrival and immediately made us feel welcome. The solar power supply during 'loadshedding' is a BIG plus. We stayed in Unit 3 and will, in future, ask to stay there again. We could not use the inviting braai facilities due to heavy rain, but it was a small price to pay in a drought-stricken area. The big bed and its bedding: what a pleasure!

Basically the only thing I do not like, is that we have to drive so far to get to this place. We had no complaints.

For a one-night stay and basic self-catering for dinner and breakfast the lodge met our expectations. It was our third visit to the lodge in 13 months which should indicate that we were previously satisfied. During electricity load-shedding all electrical appliances excluding the air-conditioner and all lamps were powered by the lodge. We felt our car was safe.

The kitchenette's implements were very limited and basic.

Free Wifi and each family room had an aircon and a TV with a lovely swimming pool to cool off after a long road trip. This accommodation was the best halfway stop to overnight when travelling between Cape Town and Johannesburg.

There is nothing I dislike..I would only suggest to provide an iron.
