The hotel is super clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is quite good, parking available. I stayed with my family, my husband, my 4 year old, and my mother and it was an amazing stay. Room service, staff's response to requirements, all were immaculate. Even the breakfast was quite good, and you could customize by a bit as well. I have a under 5 kid who is very fussy with food, and the staff was very helpful with taking small custom orders for food, which ensured my kid ate well most days. It was genuinely very helpful. All in all I would definitely stay again if I visit Aurangabad and will recommend it to anyone.

I can hardly find anything to complain about - everything was immaculate, the cleanliness, the helpful staff of the hotel, the time required for each service. one and only aspect - which again is not a complain, but the prices for the restaurant food seemed a little on higher side as compared to the quantity. But honestly that is not even that significant. All in all I would definitely stay again if I visit Aurangabad and will recommend it to anyone.

One of the best hotels I stayed at in India (and I stayed at the Taj in Mumbai). The staff were able to organise reasonably priced private transport to Ajanta and Ellora the night before my visits; the room was very comfortable and well-appointed (and unlike some other places matched the photographs!); the laundry service was excellent; and best of all the hotel restaurant was exceptional, especially for dinner. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Hotel Green Olive to anyone travelling to Aurangabad - it was definitely worth paying a little more than other local options for the comfort and service provided. This is a fantastic hotel, couldn't fault it. As many others have said, it stands out in terms of its lovely rooms, cleanliness and good restaurant. The staff are great, will help you with anything and can arrange all trips out for you. I arrived by train and they arranged a free taxi to pick me up. The driver Jameel was really helpful and so I then used his company, JK Green Tours, to travel to Ajanta and Ellora, which were fantastic!

The location is a bit tricky but this is not really an issue with the hotel itself but Aurangabad. It's a difficult city to get around on foot and you really need to get a Tuk tuk or taxi to go more or less anywhere, so be prepared for that!

All staff were lovely and very helpful from reception to restaurant staff. Everyone was fantastic. Our room was extremely clean and shower was great. We saw Ellora caves, the fort and another temple with a driver for 8 hours with the hotels help. This was only 1600 rupees which we thought was great! We find it hard to believe this is only a 3* hotel when everything was so wonderful. Hopefully this hotel will get a bigger star rating soon! We ate in the restaurant both nights the food was delicious! I really struggle with spice and the staff were very accommodating and made sure my dishes were less spicy/had no spice in. One other very lovely detail is we had to leave and check out at 6am due to getting an early flight. The hotel helped arrange our transport to the airport and even packed us a breakfast to go. It would have been good to know that Ajanta caves were closed on Mondays before we arrived as we couldn’t do the trip due to it being closed

Excellent hotel ! Very professional staff. The room is really large, the bed very confortable. The room and the hotel in general is very neat. They organised a cab for me when I arrived at the train station in Aurangabad, which is really nice. Also the restaurant and the bar on premisse offer excellent food and the service is very professional. Breakfast is great, and the staff packed a small breakfast-to-go for me as I wanted to leave early to visit Ellora on my first day there. For Ajanta, the staff organised a cab for me, everything went very smoothly.

Nothing, except the fact that they don't have a proper espresso machine at the restaurant/breakfast, only soluble black/milk coffee. But that's a detail.

Everything! This is without question one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. And to give that accolade to a 3 star hotel in India, is quite surprising! On this 3 month trip alone we are staying in 31 hotels! The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, the staff on reception and the room cleaning lady, kind, professional and thorough. The restaurant and particularly the staff there serve the tastiest cuisine and coldest beer. So good, in fact, we dined there for four nights. Every meal was spectacularly spicy. Thanks to all the staff and hidden chefs in the kitchen for four very memorable meals. DO book your Ajanta and Ellora transport at reception. The prices are competitive. My advice would be to pay a little more and book the most spacious vehicle you can afford. Your legs will thank you!

Leaving! Oh, and the repetitive background musak in the restaurant! Play some soft sitar or something Indian.

The breakfast was nutritious,varied and well organised. Eggs were cooked to order and there were always Indian as well as western style food available. We appreciated the fresh fruit and cupcakes too. The chef is very good as we also had dinner at the hotel a couple of times. The room was very well cleaned every day and all tea and coffee ingredients were replaced. I had a problem with the electric kettle the first day and it was immediately replaced. The staff, especially the wait staff, were extremely polite and looked after the guests very well.

The wifi was very weak and often nonexistent. The shower tap was quite temperamental! It worked well at times, but not always.

We stayed in Aurangabad for two nights with the main goal of visiting the Ellora and Ajanta caves, and this hotel was a great choice for our family of six. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tidy, with enough room for an extra bed. Although the hotel is located on a main road, our rooms faced the internal courtyard, so we didn’t have any issues with noise. We had a very comfortable sleep. The hotel also has a lovely restaurant on the ground floor offering a variety of Indian and international dishes. The staff were very accommodating, adjusting the spice level to our preference. The breakfast was also great

Comfortable room, good breakfast and helpful staff. Jameel from JK Green Travel and Tours took us to Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves. He was really good. Very knowledgeable and made us really comfortable. Have us the recommendations of which caves to see, and good instruction in how to get tickets and where to go. Just made it really easy and enjoyable for us.

They have a motion sensor light in the bathroom which I really didn’t like. The light turns off too quickly if you aren’t making big movements. Also you have to keep the door closed because at night time because the light will randomly turn on. But that’s it, everything else was fine!

Very nice clean room. Nice breakfast. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Staff assistance with travel arrangements. On site restaurant was very good.

When we checked in we were told we'd have to have the last room and that the air conditioning wasn't working. It was a pleasant evening so I agreed, thinking we could open the window and have the fan runnning. As it happened the room had no opening windows and had been left with the door closed all day making it like an incubator. A terrible night, and no refund given for not supplying what we paid for.
