I cannot overstate how wonderful this stay was! We had the most welcoming, warm, relaxed and immaculate stay in a beautiful family home. Florella and Auguste are so naturally hospitable, friendly and kind, and the peaceful garden and conservatory are fantastic spaces. Our room was very well appointed, quiet, light, and our bed was extremely comfortable! We honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was amazing, the house dogs and cat are so sweet, and we absolutely loved our stay.

No complaints whatsoever!

This was our second visit to Les Glycines de Monchy. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful and we like staying in the room with a kitchenette (up a staircase which is characteristic is an older French house). Breakfasts are excellent and home made delights are included. The WiFi is good, parking is easy, the area is quiet, and the house is charming and comfortable and, importantly, has air conditioning. Their garden is a delight. This time we took the opportunity to walk around the town of Monchy-Humieres which is only small, but quite picturesque and has an interesting history although only vestiges of its past still remain. The town is easily accessible from exit 11 on the A1. and so is an easy trip to CDG Airport.

Liked everything - location is 45mins to an hour from CDG and easy access to the A1, very comfortable bed, kitchenette a bonus, very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts, gorgeous garden that we didn't have time to sit in, unfortunately, very quiet location and room, parking close to the house, pretty village, nice décor in our room and in the house in general, breakfast was good with home cooking included. A big 'thank you' to our hosts and we hope to visit again on our way to CDG.

Fabulous welcome from Florella and August - even though we arrived late they treated us to a glass of wine and snacks in their lovely garden and it was great to chat to them. Bedroom is fantastic, plenty of space with air conditioning and a great shower. Breakfast was very good and Florella even gave us some lovely homemade cakes to take with us in our travels.

The house is such a lovely property and well renovated. We especially loved the winter garden with the huge windows and the view into the beautiful garden. The rooms are very classy and the bed was the most comfortable we‘ve slept in for a long time! Florelle is such a nice and welcoming host who made us feel really comfortable and we even got dinner after a long day in the car.

The lady who runs the hostillerie was fantastic. Very friendly & couldn’t be more accommodating. We loved our stay. The place was homely, warm and immaculate. Breakfast was so delicious and fresh. Will definitely stay again when in Compiegne. Her dog Fiona was super friendly!

I liked the decoration and attention to detail. Great atmosphere. Nice breakfast, personal attention.

The A/C did not work and only one small window had a bug screen. Too warm inside and too many mosquitoes to open everything.

Everything! The hosts are absolutely charming and could not have done more, providing many thoughtful and intuitive touches to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect for our overnight stay en route from Calais to Loire, we had secure parking for our bikes and we wish we’d had time to stay longer to enjoy the exceptional hospitality of Florella and her husband, and to explore the surrounding area. From the moment we crossed the threshold we felt welcome and began to unwind. The room was immaculately clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Being able to relax in the courtyard was just what we wanted after a tiring journey, home cooked food, a good night’s sleep and a delicious breakfast. Perfect! We wholeheartedly recommend Les Glycines for a stay en route or a longer stay. Thank you.

There is nothing to dislike.

Warm and friendly welcome from the English speaking owner and his wife. Nothing was too much trouble. Room quality was very good and air conditioned with fridge and tv. Lovely garden and conservatory where we had breakfast which was one of the best we had during our holiday. Breakfast included fresh baguettes, croissants and a tasty varied selection of items. Parking available outside front of property. Tea and coffee facilities available in room. Everything a Chambre D'hote should be.

There was nothing to dislike

Very nice place. Easly reachable. Host is amazing. You can eat at property and park car in front. Sleep quality high: quiet and with comfortable bad and pillows. All in all great recomendations.
