Chosen for it's convenient location (close to town centre but easy drive up to ski resort), this hotel was perfect for us during our son's freeride competition. We really appreciated the welcoming and accommodating staff who really made us feel welcome and at home. The choice at breakfast was generous and varied (esp. given that one of us is gluten-free). Dinner was excellent too. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved the communal lounge area with the piano, fireplace and pool-table.

Just a minor critique: was expecting a higher level of quality in the restaurant at the hotel. Some plates had nice presentations, but to my taste, they didn't reach the desired level of satisfaction. Lacked some passion in the cuisine.

Our room was wonderful - nice and clean and recently updated (although some corners are quite dated it's very clean and well-kept.) We had a wonderful view over the mountains so could watch the storm roll in whilst sitting on our balcony. It was our anniversary and they had left us a small gift and a card to wish us a happy celebration. Dinner was good (we're not really foodies, but it was very nice) and the cocktails in the bar were excellent. It's definitely a family friendly hotel, and I'm not sure we'd highly recommend it for the best place for a couples' romantic getaway as the dining room is quite utilitarian (it's the same place they serve breakfast) but again, the service was very good. Breakfast was great (for a French breakfast). Loads of choice and all very fresh and local. A huge shout out to the staff member (Nicolas - with the lovely glasses) who checked us in and out who was very friendly and would be one of the reasons we would come to stay again - it's lovely to have a warm, friendly, chatty welcome. Nice and clean. Close to the bus stop and tele cabin. 5-10 mins walk to town center. Staff are friendly. Pool table etc for kids. Area in the lobby to sit, have a drink and relax.

Ski room does not have heating to dry boots. Lobby area can be smokey because of the fire place. Pets - dogs.

Extremely good breakfast, lots of choice , freshly squeezed orange juice and other juices freshly brewed tea and coffee of your choice clean and buffet continually replaced from 7 to 10 am

Luggage porters to take baggage to your room

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was well located for walking into the centre of town and there was plenty of free parking next door. The views from both sides of the hotel were lovely. Breakfast was superb and well worth the fairly high price. There was a well equipped area in the main garage with bike hands, track pump and a large tool chest.

The bike area was in a corner of the main garage near the entrance and there wasn't anything to lock bikes to. My husband ended up attaching his to his bike box and the tool chest each night for a bit more security.

We loved everything but the highlight of the stay are their staff, when I say staff i mean every single one. From the reception to the housekeeping, everyone was kind and smiling, helpful and professional. We loved the restaurant and the fact we can eat anytime we want. The spa treatments are excellent. We highly recommend it :)

breakfast buffet was great with plenty to choose from the bar area in the evening was nice by the fire. Service was good and the hotel ambience is nice Hotel is in a great location for skiing and right beside and connected to the thermal spa which was fantastic after a day in the mountain!

The pool area was small and had a strange smell, there isn't anywhere to lounge. However the thermal spa is next door, so we bought a pass and enjoyed it over there.

staff were excellent, the bar area by the fire is a few treat. The service and quality of food in the restaurant was very good.

A heads up for people hoping to use the pool/spa/sauna. We were very disappointed to discover that there is a strict policy on swimwear. Only speedos for men (no shorts at all) and swimming suits for ladies (no bikinis). One of the main reasons we booked the hotel was to use these facilities.
