Breakfast was excellent, with good range of choices so that you could eat different things each day. some starters seemed very big but thankfully the waiter did tell us on one occasion we would be better to share! good that the evening menu was varied as we did not find anywhere else to eat.

Not having enough knowledge of Spanish so could not communicate very well with staff. Had trouble with our adaptors fitting some electric sockets One evening the electronic door key did not work- fortunately before the main hotel doors were shut- so it was quickly resolved!

Quiet hotel accommodation with ground floor rooms. Secure key card entry building in a separate building across the street from the main hotel. Off street parking locked at night. Nice restaurant for breakfast and evening meals. Both buildings with a sense of old grandeur. A nice place to visit and would recommend. Lounges, bar, and well tended gardens.

Nice clean hotel with reasonably sized rooms for two and a very comfortable bed. The host was very helpful and dinner in the rear garden was good. There is not a lot in the town but it is a good stop over location for visits to Trujillo and Caceres. Free secure parking undercover was a bonus.

The Wifi was not strong enough to reach the rooms. You had to go into the hallway or downstairs to get a connection.

We arrived quite late, but the staff were polite and efficient. The room was clean, and everything was in good working order. I also liked the building where the hotel is located; it reminded me of colonial-style architecture.

Wonderfully restored old buildings ( the hotel has two buildings- the main one and one across the road) The garden area was very pretty with flowers and trees Very large bedroom The owner-Isobel -was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to provide information for us.

A welcoming jewel in a rural village. The host was great. Such a nice and relaxing break from the tourist track. The French bed was excellent.

Breakfast good, authentic Spanish building. Lovely courtyard with Lemon and Orange trees.

The bed was quite uncomfortable, not modern, disappointing.

Lovely rooms, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, kind receptionist, pretty garden at the back.

good breakfast very nice room even had a fridge excellent garden to sit in and have a drink

closed when i arrived. luckily a spanish couple arrived and phoned the owner no drinks available until 7 pm and had to wait until 8.30 to have dinner but that is usual in spain

traffic on street outside hotel detracts from the beauty of the old charismatic hotel.
