Clean room, friendly staff. Good choice for breakfast. Good sized bed and great shower room.

The lift was out of order the morning I left, no one offered to help bring my bags down from the top floor. When i went to breakfast the staff were not clear where I should sit or that it was self service. Not enough sugar, no standard tea and no decaff coffee in the room. No clear explanation how to adjust the air conditioning. I'm afraid I do not like the smell of any of the free products in the shower room. None of these things spoiled my stay but, perhaps, should be considered. NB. A bonus question suggested I asked for a quiet room, I did not. But if I had there was a lot of noise from outside (pumps, pipes?), and children seemed to be running around outside my room quite late at night.

Excellent breakfast in large dining room. Our room was excellent (we paid a little more for an upgrade). We were pleased it seemed to have good air conditioning and we slept well. Good lockup bicycle facilities (we arrived and left by bike/velo)

The hotel is work in progress in refurbishment. Some of the staff were a little confused about things - for example they couldn't initially find our reservation. There appeared to be only one elevator which is a big drawback.

A very comfortable and self-contained hotel in a rather isolated location. The raison d'etre are the thermal springs and Spa which although we didn't use were obviously very popular. Good breakfast and excellent on-site restaurant serving both lunch and dinner. Friendly staff

Interesting history of the place, beautifully refurbished to modern taste but would love to see preserved more of original features, friendly and professional staff, good restaurant- dining menu quite affordable. Didn’t try spa facility but the prices looked reasonable- would consider for next visit.

Outdoors spa facilities are still under construction, so that, for the moment, spoils the outdoor views. But once finished, it will be beautiful spa. Definitely looking to return.

The breakfast area was very small, we had to queue to get anything. No safe cark park on site, we had to park away from the hotel and walk on a very icy path!

What a great place. Beautiful town, scenery and building. It has everything you want in a hotel. Clean hotel, clean room, clean bathroom. Big bath towels! Having a proper size bath towel is great, I like to cover my entire bum when I get out of a shower, so we were very happy and they have lovely, fluffy bath robes. Even the shower gel and shampoo were good. The bedrooms were well decorated and the beds very comfortable. Good space to put your suitcase and ace if you want a desk to work on. We opted for breakfast in our room, which was a lovely treat. Good selection of breakfast food. We ate at the restaurant and were very happy with the meal. Great food and lovely decor. All of the staff were really great, very helpful and friendly and all of them, from reception to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff were extremely hard working. I've worked in busy pubs and restaurants and the staff here kept their cool and their smiles. Really enjoyed the stay 😊

The only thing I would have liked is tea making facilities in the room. There was a very good coffee maker (where you put the pods in), which my husband enjoyed, but I hate coffee and would have enjoyed a cup of tea had there been either a kettle or a hot water option on the coffee machine.

Nice hotel. Comfortable and quiet. Recent build meant good decor. Interesting dinner menu.

Breakfast was disappointing: not a wide choice of products and the layout meant that it was difficult to obtain things from the buffet with so many other people all trying to do the same thing.

Rooms spacious, comfortable bed, huge bathroom, very clean. Food at hotel restaurant was great and excellent value. The barman was a gem! Room very good value for money.

Air con not adjustable and room too warm. One of our rooms was not cleaned in time for check in. There was no easy way to walk into town because of building work behind the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings, very pretty gardens. Comfortable clean room, excellent shower, nice coffee and tea in room. Restaurant was excellent, and all.staff extremely friendly despite our terrible French.

Great hotel in a quiet location with outdoor heated pool. Very comfortable rooms and courteous staff. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was of a high standard.

Signage could have been better - took a while to find.
