The room was very spacious and clean, with an extra-large bed and a firm mattress, which was amazing for sleeping. The bathroom was on the smaller side, and overall, the hotel would benefit from some modernisation and a fresh coat of paint. That said, everything was in good working order. All the hotel staff were very helpful, polite, and hardworking—they really did their best to provide excellent service. The hotel is located in a small, quiet town, but if you hire a car, you'll have easy access to many places, as it's not far from everything you might need for a great holiday.

Breakfast was generally good, though it would be nice to see a wider selection of vegetables and boiled eggs.

The hotel - which is actually the hotel school of Girona University - was very well run with lovely staff; both full timers and students learning their trade. This made for great service from the many willing young trainees who benefit from a real hotel to run yet also contribute to keeping labour costs down. The net effect is superlative service and great value for money. This was most apparent in the restaurant which was superb, and this on the evening of Jan 1st 2025, normally a 'low' date after the New Year festivities. The site is nicely located in a slightly out of town location and the hotel spacious. Trains run from close by all along the coast. The rooms are typical Spanish/Catalan coastal - few frills, super clean, all you need but maybe not everything you might want. Fine for us. We paid a few euros extra for a top floor room which we felt was worth it for an uninterrupted sea view (from the bed, no less!) The breakfast was really good - very varied, fresh and hot, sweet and savoury, continental and full - it was all available and of good quality.

Only a minor point, but a few small comforts in the room would have been welcome - a throw, a couple of soft cushions or similar. Otherwise we were well satisfied.

Great location, all rooms with sea view. It's a simple hotel, but Staff was really nice and accommodating (we arrived late at night, when cafeteria was closing, and they were very kind to prepare hot drinks and some food for us). Internet worked well all over the hotel facilities. Room service was excellent and sorted out issues very quickly and professionally. Nice breakfast buffet, with many local products. Definitely a place to come back

We really enjoyed our stay but the facilities are kind of old.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely sunny balcony with a view of the deep blue Mediterranean. Breakfast was amazing - a huge range of food all beautifully presented. Impressed with the pristine white tablecloths and napkins! The lovely town of Sant Pol is a short walk away Above all excellent value for money - would highly recommend

There was nothing we could find that we didn't like. The hotel has a training school for young chefs so when we arrived the car park was pretty full. Maybe in high season it could be more difficult to park? Just an observation as it didn't affect us

Great view of the sea, with waves crashing on the shoreline. Balcony with seats which could have been used if it was sunny, but unfortunately rained all the time. Good stocked fridge with soft drinks and more importantly bottled water.

The sad thing lacking was the absence of a kettle with tea making facilities! Perhaps it's a British thing? Going down to breakfast late limited the number of croissants and the cooked eggs and bacon were not appealing.

First day air conditioner didn’t work because it needed batteries replaced problem with the socket, when charging the AirPods they melted and damaged There were two of us, but they only gave us one door magnet, which is inconvenient

Lovely spacious room with sea view, very clean and comfortable beds, good air conditioning, very kind and helpful staff, very nice breakfast, good coffee, amazing location, nice pool and communal areas, lots of hot water for showers and baths.

Bathroom and shower were a bit old and worn/marked, though it was nice to have a bathtub. Bathroom door lock and lock on door to balcony were broken. Rail on balcony is too low and could be dangerous. It would be nice to have a second bin in the main room, currently there's only one in the bathroom. It would have been great to have a fridge in the room.

The Staff.. went out of their way to look after us. The location was ideally located for us to watch the bike section of the Ironman. we had a competitor there. The mini fridge was so lovely too. Opening the curtains the first morning to the sea view! What a treat.. Magical

The views are reason enough to stay. The room was standard, no frills but the view, the little balance and a fridge filled with cool beverages was a nice touch. Also, as were traveling with our small dog, we were happy that pet cleaning fee was reasonable and the hotel put up a balcony net to offer some protection for her. The customer service we received was great. The breakfast was filled with lots of options. Everything from healthy fruit to local sweets. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great, no complaints. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

The staff - from the reception to the restaurant- was really friendly and welcoming. The room was nice with a beautiful seaview. The restaurant had good food and the staff was extremely service minded. Good parking facilities. Very nice breakfast! .

It was a bit tricky to find our way to the hotel, but it was worth it!
