The meals were of very good quality, with a satisfying variety and tastefully prepared dishes. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any request, which we truly appreciated. Apart from the pool area, all other hotel spaces — including the room — were very clean and well-maintained.

Unfortunately, the pool was not clean during our stay. Also, the hotel does not provide parking, and finding a free spot nearby is very difficult. The reception gave us inaccurate information regarding the blue-lined parking spaces, which, after April, are no longer free and require payment. As a result, we received a fine from the local authorities — something that could have been avoided with more precise guidance.

The hotel is great, good location, staff very kind and helpful. The food was amazing. Every day it was different and a lot to choose from. Pools are big, lots of sunbeds around in the beautiful garden. Shops are in the corner, beach 10min walk. Can hire beach towels for €10 deposit+€1 for towel. Beach has small stones no sand. Water is deep with big waves. € 12 taxi to Cala Roca Grossa stunning beach, can walk back takes like 25mins. Lighthouse is there too. We had a fantastic time in Calella.

The hotel is pretty good, absolutely loved the location! Booked a twin room with balcony and the view was amazing! On the left there were mountains and the sea on the right, also our balcony was right in front of the club "Oxygen" which made the atmosphere so good and it was easy to check when we should go attend the club or bar there. Even though there was a club in front of us, it wasn't too loud at night. In addition, you could also just close the balcony, the sound isolation is good. The hotel location is great, it's close to the beach and restaurants, bars, and only like a 15 minute walk to the downtown. We only had breakfast in the hotel, so mostly ate at the restaurants, a few I would recommend: "Don Corleone" a bit more expensive than all others, but the atmosphere is worth it; "Mammamia" the best pizzeria ever, the pizza is awesome, also a bit more expensive than the other restaurants near the beach, but if you love pizza you should try it for sure!; "Restaurant Hotel Garbi" not too expensive, yummy food and nice staff. If you also need to buy some water, snacks and stuff like that, I'd recommend buying it in the "Mercadonna" we bought 8 liters of water for less than 1 Euro, when in local shops they sell 1,5 liters for like a Euro. Also if you're interested in clubs I would totally recommend "Oxygen" and "Fenix" with the foam parties; people also say "The Frog" is good, but haven't been there personally, so can't say anything. Definitely try out Sangria, Tequila and all the cocktails, those here are the best I've ever had. In case you need a tip how to get from Barcelona EL Prat airport to Calella easily: if you arrive to the terminal T2, you need to find the bus station at your terminal and buy a bus ticket from Sagales; it will get you straight to Calella and costed like €10.

The hotel staff is very friendly and very professional. They all work with a big smile in the face and very helpful. The rooms were very nice and OMG super clean, well done to the ladies that clean those rooms and the hotel in general very well. The restaurant food was incredibly good, and I could not believe for the amount of money they can still service a great quality of food and make sure all table are clean after the guest leave the plates was so fast the ladies cleaning everything and make sure the space to the next guest are ready and clean. They have all types of meals to all tastes so no complaints about this and every day is something different. The location is great, 500m from the beach and 10 min to the town of Calella. Lots of restaurants and bars and supermarkets around the hotel. The evening entreteriment was great and was offering to all ages. The price of the cocktails, coffee and whatever you order at the bar was very cheap and great drinks. Swimming pool very clean and chairs to everyone. When you are in the room once you close the window, no noise at all to hear. I will come back to the hotel with my family again soon. Thanks to everyone work really hard in the Hotel President.

I should start off by saying we loved our stay in hotel President, ALL the staff are amazing and are exceptional in helping you out 👏🏽👏🏽. The room was basic ..no frills and no fridge in room, you can rent a safe deposit box for €3 a day. Spotless clean, bedding and towels changed every day. Our room was above the entrance, this side only get the sun on the balcony in the mornings so if you want the sun afternoons -evenings ask for sea view or pool view. Plenty sun beds and parasols provided at the pool. The food in general was excellent, couldn’t fault it, great variety, and well presented…..we were there for 9days and didn’t find it repetitive. The food alone would make me choose to go back to this hotel. We were leaving at 5.30am and they even supplied us with a breakfast at 4.30am 👏🏽 amazing. We were half board so I can’t comment on lunch but I’d be sure it wouldn’t disappoint. The entertainment at the hotel was great I don’t usually go watch this on this occasion I’m glad I did also the bar prices in the hotel make it very attractive to enjoy the hotel facilities more…..☕️€1.50 🍷€1.50 small 🍺 €2 large 🍺 €3 and cocktails 🍹 all €4.20 . There seemed to be lots of guests who return to the hotel regularly, you can see the personal welcome they get from the staff on arrival..lovely touch. I don’t think this hotel would be suitable for young party goers as it’s geared more to all the other genres.

There is a school next to the hotel so can be a bit noisy during school hours, while didn’t worry me that much might annoy others. On our last night the disco across from the hotel had its seasonal opening and it was noisy with patriots at 3-4am, you would have to close your balcony door to prevent this noise.

I did not want to write my review of this hotel in a hurry. First of all, a big thank you to the young man who sits at the left end of the reception. I'm sorry, I don't know know your name. May God bless you for your kindness. The effort to stand up from your chair, walk up to me at the lift, and ask me in my language "are you okay", we kept some food for you" may seem mundane but it literally restored my faith in humanity when I returned to the hotel after I had missed dinner on a very exhausting day out. The food is awesome, and the pool ambience is breathtaking. The staff at breakfast and dinner greet and welcome you like family. I will surely like to be back when next I'm in that axis, hopefully on vacation and not a business trip.

The food was delicious, good choices including vegetarian options. The staff in the restaurant were so welcoming and delivered such a high standard of service. The hotel building was kept very clean throughout. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool table in the bar area, great to have a social focal point for all.

Such a small point but, the swimming pools seemed slightly smaller than how they appear in the photographs. The water could have been cleaner in the pools, perhaps this was just due to the high number of people using them.

The hotel is really nice, well maintained, a lot of services and amenities. It looks new or renewed, so it has a really spacious and well thought out floorplan. Swimming pool area was a bit small comparing to the number of guests, but it was still ok to swim (tip: go swimming when others are going to eat at the restaurant, it's less crowded!) Restaurant was exceptional. Choice of food was really well balanced for a buffet at a family hotel. Quality was outstanding and staff worked really hard to keep everything clean, stocked and nice for the guests! The bar was very good, reception staff very accomodating and entertainment did not miss a beat! I did not expect it to be so good, but was pleasantly surprised! Everything is closeby: Cornerstore, nightclubs, the beach, restaurants, midgetgolf court and even a big supermarket. Busstop with buses coming from and going to Barcelona (airport) stop at the main road that is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel! I would recommend this hotel to people that want to visit Calella!

Nothing really.. The bar closed quite early and they told me I couldn't sit there anymore (the closed off that section after closing time). I get it, but that was actually the only thing that I can think of that wasn't awesome yet understandable!

This hotel was really good. So much better than we expected as the price was very reasonable. The food was exceptional, amazing value for money and such a excellent choice of fresh food each day. The dinning room staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Everywhere was clean. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We had a great time.

The twin room was 2 single beds. I expected 2 double beds. My bed was very uncomfortable, but my friends bed was fine. I didn't complain to anyone, so these are just my thoughts. This was the only issue we had with this hotel.
