The location was excellent for what I was in town for. It was nice and quiet even though it was right next to a gas station. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly and accommodating. Convenient parking. I had a convenient room right at the top of the stairway which was nice.

The outlet in the bathroom only worked when the light was on. I had brought my own night light and could not plug it in to give me some light in the bathroom at night time. The remote to the TV did not seem to work other than to turn the TV on and off. I had to control the TV by the buttons on the box. Some instructions would be nice also.

It was entirely adequate in every way. Not too noisy. Clean. No bugs. No weird smells. No lingering smoke or allergic reactions to someone else's pets (all problems I've had in the past at other hotels). Great water pressure (a big plus) when I took my morning shower. Easy access to downtown and restaurants (another biggie).

The staff was not exactly unfriendly, but they were indifferent. That's probably the best way I can put it. Questions were answered monosyllabollicy or with nods or shakes of the head; at times it felt as if the staff were a bunch of robots. It was hard to get a smile from them. This is minor, but it is a factor. People who run hotels should at least endeavor to be sociable. Plus there was no breakfast whatever, just lousy coffee. Total bare bones. Luckily there were a range of options within easy walking distance for food, so I did not go hungry, but it is nice to have something available "in house". Not even any vending machines, which seems odd to me. Also nothing in the way of pools or weight rooms. Nothing like that.

Room was a nice size and clean. Front receptionist was able to accomodate my first floor request. Many walkable options for food and snacks, and many other options very close by.

The bed and sink were both too high for me, it was difficult to get into bed. I would have liked a grab bar at the end of the tub for getting out safely. Sink was too high to comfortably lean over to brush teeth. Wished it had breakfast in the morning.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. New carpet and curtains. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Nothing fancy but much nicer than a Microtel or Sleep Inn. McDonald's is a short walk as is Speedway. Anything needed is easy to get. An fantastic barbecue restaurant several blocks away. Some interesting old buildings along the 8 min walk. Delicious food..

The area it's in a an old small town center. There is street noise. This settled down after midnight. No problem sleeping.

I was not aware of any breakfast. I was glad there was a refrigerator, as I had some food I needed to keep cold. There was also a microwave. I have stayed here numerous times over the last 10 years, as it is a good stopping point on a trip I have to make. The room was clean, looked well maintained, and the air conditioner appeared new.

The carpet looked clean, but I've noticed in many places I've stayed recently they have remodeled and used vinyl flooring, which I think is easier to keep clean. I've come to prefer that to carpet. But like I said, the carpet looked clean.

The staff and cleanliness

The people upstairs were EXTREMELY noisy! They stomped all night every night, I was awakened every time went to sleep rather it was 1pm or 5am it didn’t matter! Thumping and stomping it was terrible. I couldn’t relax at all. And on the day of check out which isn’t until 11am at 8 am I was awakened by a vacuum cleaner.

Older building but room was clean and beds were comfortable. Bedding, furniture and tv were newer, indicative of a good attempt at upgrading. This establishment is non-smoking, important for people (like my husband and me) with health issues that require them to not be exposed to second-hand smoke.

Person sitting outside of laundry/ice machine room smoking and texting left my husband (with cancer) no choice but to expose himself to smoke if we wanted ice. Our room had one window that was not the typical full length window, but sat in the upper third of the wall. It overlooked a McDonalds parking area where patrons were sitting below the window playing loud music. My husband had to stand on the bed and knock on the window to get them to lower their volume. They did so with no issue. Not all rooms have this problem, but it is worth mentioning for people who find possible noises an issue. We still would not hesitate to stay here again.

I appreciate the updated carpet. It felt clean. Nice room. On major road. Next to the gas station across from a yummy take out Bengali food, a CHIPS drive-through, unusual for me. I could see my car from my room. Nice and dark. All noises go quiet at night. Good rest stop with essentials.

I came from the UK so arrived late for check in but it wasnt a problem at all the lady changed my room from upstairs to down which saved me carrying suitcase upstairs. Great place to stay very welcoming, really comfortable bed, although it's close to busy roads once in your room can't hear anything. Great value for money. Also local to everything which was a bonus.

I was not aware of any breakfast at this location. We ate at Bob Evans on the way out. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby.

Neighborhood was a little on the depressed side. There were restaurants within walking distance, but we would not have been very comfortable doing that.
