A lovely little basic hotel in a perfect position in the beautiful centre of Vitre. Both reception and bar men were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were simple and quite small but exactly as we expected and all that we needed as a base for a short break in the area. Very clean, and daily towel changes! Once checked in, free secure indoor parking was just at the train station. A quick walk over the railway bridge. Loved our stay and enjoyed some lovely meals with lots of restaurants to choose from Thank you!

Arriving with suitcases was a bit difficult, managed to stop quickly outside to unload. The lanes are cobbled so not easy to pull cases from the nearest parking.

Beautiful location. There was everything I needed in the room. Parking is possible by the railway station which is nearby.

The staff speakes only French, but when people really want to understand each other, it is no big problem.

Excellent location, really warm friendly welcome, secure bike storage. Our room had a bath!

Location is excellent and breakfast exceeded expectations. Madame and M'sieur very pleasant and helpful. Parking nearby very useful, although there is very short stay parking immediately outside if you get your time of arrival right. Interesting building. Bed very comfortable and shower excellent

The Minotel was very well-situated, right by the charming historical centre of Vitre. The hosts were extremely welcoming, and the breakfast was the best offered by the several hotels in which we stayed. Parking was available nearby.

A kettle in the room, with coffee and tea, would have been welcome.

Proximity to old town. Clean.

Very small room but ok for one night only. Incorrectly advertised free parking onsite which was important for us, since we have a motorbike. They did allow us to park on terrace, after some negotiation, but property description needs to be corrected.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and with a great location. Will stay again. Easy parking at the gare and within walking distance of the hotel.

Fabulous hotel right in the heart of Vitré. Although it said check in from 17h we checked in about 14h with no problem at all. We upgraded to a bigger room for 10€ more but amazing value & perfect location. Will definitely return. Owners there were absolutely delightful

The breakfast is great. The couple who run the hotel could not be more helpful. The location is perfect for visiting the old town and is very close to the station. Parking is at the station multi-storey car park

Brilliant location five minutes walk from the Chateau and close to shops and restaurants. Simple but stylish decor and really helpful receptionist.

I was only able to check in after 18.00 and it would have been easier if that could have been earlier. Would also appreciate a kettle.
