Hosts Lisa and Gianpiero are working to an international standard of guest services that combines the best of modern, individualised B&B technology with hard-to-find old-fashioned amenities. So many on-line rental options can be too 'DIY', but this couple put their heart into greeting you and anticipating your needs. With a luggage rack, ample storage, cotton buds and Q-tips, a superbly comfortable bed, good wifi and a lovely breakfast room, everything felt professional yet personal -- Bravo! We had overseas friends/colleagues join us for the weekend and Gianpiero went out of his way to ensure they were able to book the room next door to ours. It was our friend's birthday and Lisa was able to organise a cake with candles, champagne, even a hand-made card and tasteful balloon. All with the blue sea just out the window! Parking advice was spot-on and recommendations for food and fun just great. Everything was pleasing. Grazie!!

Huge THANK YOU to our host Lisa. This woman is amazing, we went to Amalfi Coaat for our engagement and it was pure luck to met Lisa and to choose Acquasalata. The place is very clean and cozy with a great views over the sea and the town. The room was comfortable ESPECIALLY the bed and the pillow. The breakfaat is rich enough with fresh food and croissants. Lisa made sure to make us feel special all the time not only for our day, but all the time. Highly recommend the place!

Our stay at Aquasalata was just perfect from start to finish. Lisa and Gianpierro were exceptional hosts, offering warm hospitality, including transfers to and from the airport and even to the boat terminal. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome and at home. Everything was flawless, from the delicious breakfast to the ideal location. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Acquasalata is an absolutely fabulous B&B! It had everything we needed for our overnight stay as we prepared to drive along the Amalfi on our motorbike. So much care has gone into making sure your stay is comfortable - our regret was that we didn’t stay longer! The perfect place to base yourself to explore Salerno, with so many wine bar and pizzerias close by. The parking was easily accessible, and secure behind gates from midnight to 8am. Breakfast was also lovely!

Breakfast had daily fresh croissants and appreciated the selections of cheeses and cold cuts. It was my birthday and they made it special for me by ordering and delivering a cake and bubbly for breakfast. We had a super early start so arranged to put on breakfast early so we could have prior to our day trip. They gave great recommendations for restaurants near by. Allowed us to check in early, which was much appreciated.

The friendly host collected us at the train station. She kindly offers to take us to the harbor the next morning as we had to take a ferry. She also gave us recommendations as to where and what to eat for dinner and it was a wonderful restaurant with the best fish and views. Lovely room and breakfast. Highly recommended

Perfect, will not change anything

We were welcomed by our hosts, happy they could meet us in the street to tell us where to take the car for the off street parking. We were able to check in early, which was very much appreciated, and it was a very easy wander to the local beach where we spent a very pleasant afternoon. Salerno was a pleasant surprise to us, definitely not the vibe of Amalfi Coast, but a lovely calm beach with a number of restaurant choices available for us within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean, a comfortable bed and suprisingly quiet. Breakfast was laid out for self help the next morning. It was great to have an elevator to get our bags to and from this 6th floor room.

Lisa was great in meeting us and showing us the parking area behind the building. She was also exceptional at explaining the area to us and suggesting where to do laundry, have dinner, etc.. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the heart of Salerno, you’d be happy here.

We are from the US and have a very soft and comfortable bed, and all of the places we’ve stayed this far l, we have found the bedding is a bit stiffer than we’d like.

Wowow. Lisa and Gianpiero are superhosts! Incredible communication, thoughtful touches down to the last detail, and great tips! Forget about staying in any other BNB. Lisa and Gianpiero are the warmest and friendliest hosts we've met. Check-in was a breeze, and we were fortunate enough to have a carpark too. Location is 10/10 and close to all the amenities you could need, you feel like you get a taste for the real Salerno. It was peaceful (yet you're in the city), and easy to navigate with incredible views of the beach from the balcony in the common area where you have breakfast. Lisa and Gianpiero made their place feel like home away from home. They renovated the property with a BNB in mind (it was their dream), and it really shows! Wonderful spacious rooms, with very cool lighting in the huge shower! Lisa was sweet and even gave us an Acquasalata tote bag too! I seriously cannot recommend Acquasalata enough, you won't regret it. Don't waste your time booking with anyone else! We will definitely be back!

Lisa was a wonderful host - she personally greeted us at the main entrance. She gave us a lot of useful information for our stay in Salerno. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was very nice. The location was excellent - close to the attractions. My wife and I would highly recommend this B&B. We plan to return to Salerno and stay here next year.
