This Masseria is situated in the countryside between Ostuni and Martina Franca which makes it perfect for exploring the entire Istria valley . The property is an old farmhouse with numerous characterful buildings set in grounds with a lovely swimming pool . Our room was a large one on the first floor ( reached by an outside stone staircase ) with a massive terrace . It was very comfortable. Downstairs there’s a really lovely cosy lounge for residents with an honesty bar and tea and coffee making facilities which are open all the time. Meals are in the restaurant building just across a lawn. Breakfast is a buffet which had a good and varied selection. Dinners are a changing tasting menu. All the staff whether in reception or the restaurant are helpful and friendly and speak excellent English. Our stay was a really delightful one and we’d recommend it to anyone who wants to stay somewhere Un-formulaic and full of charm.

This is really nitpicking but I think we’d have welcomed a non tasting menu dinner option which might have meant we’d have eaten there every evening and not just one .

The staff was wonderful, and even accommodated our request for a change in furniture in our room! Sabine and Alfonso were standouts and very excited and interested in their work. Giovanna and Piero who provided wellness treatments were also fantastic. The living room and public areas were fantastic and enjoyable. We traveled in October and did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool, but the landscape was fantastic and we hope to return in warmer weather. The chapel was beautiful, and it was a wonderful place to reflect and have calm.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t really like, but we do have a few suggestions. 1. The dinner option is quite interesting, however, we found that 730 was too late for us because we would not have finished eating until at least 9 PM which is a bit late. 2. Would be fantastic if there were extended walking areas /trails around the property.

The property is stunning and the garden and pool area are wonderful and very relaxing. The rooms are sensational and the communal space is perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

It would be good to also have the option of not having a tasting menu every night, as we would have eaten most nights but a tasting menu is a bit much every evening.

Beautiful rural location within easy cycling distance of Ostuni, sympathetically restored historic building, combining traditional style rooms with all modern comforts. The swimming pool nestled in the natural sink hole, choice of sun and shaded lounge areas and Gianni’s cheerful and attentive poolside bar with creative cocktails was a highlight. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, supplying great suggestions for varied activities, cycle tours, road tour, wine tasting and a lovely relaxing massage. The tasting menu is a must coupled with Alfonso’s expert wine pairings. Passion in action!

We enjoyed our stay in Cervarolo very much. The property with historic buildings and a huge pool in a garden is marvelous. Remote enough to be tranquil, yet close to wonderful Ostuni and other must sees in Puglia. Our room was spacious and had a lovely terrace. The food at Cervarolo is excellent. Dinners in an open restaurant are fun and Alfonso knows everything about the local wines that are served exclusively. We also loved lunch by the pool. Everyone who works here is dedicated. friendly and professional.

Most friendly personel and owner. We had the surprise of an upgrade to a "trullo room" which was lovely. Thank you very much to all, specially to Lucia!! You made a dream come true, to sleep in a trullo. Very good breakfast and at dinner, Alfonso was very friendly and helpful with the wine selection. We tried excellent wines from Puglia. The property is beautiful and very well kept. Unfortunately we had rainy days and couldn't enjoy the gardens. The living room areas are very nice/chic and the "Honesty bar" is cosy and a grat idea! We look forward to come back, hoping for better weather.

The property is beautiful, with lovely grounds, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. Our room was charming and featured a nice terrace, but the steep stairs made it unsuitable for those with mobility issues. If you have difficulty with stairs, we recommend booking a ground-level room. We especially enjoyed the cozy living room and tea room, where complimentary tea and coffee were available. The pool is stunning, though it was too cold to use during our stay

We prefer a light, early dinner, so we weren’t thrilled that the only dinner option was a €50 tasting menu (excluding drinks) at 8 PM. Additionally, there were no food options available between 6:30 PM and 8 PM.

The main server/ person who was running the dinner service was absolutely terrific! HE made are stay wonderful. He helped us with wine and handled two parents traveling with young children very well. He was very accommodative and understanding. Most importantly he made us feel welcomed!

One person at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and very helpful with providing recommendations that fit our needs. There was another person who was less helpful in providing guidance/ recommendations.

Fabulous setting and wonderful character room. Very comfortable bed and good quality linen/towels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great pool bar with excellent light lunch menu. Good location for exploring the Ostuni area.

The evening dining area was very atmospheric but we found the “tasting” menu to be very contrived. We would have liked a regular menu running alongside so individual choices could be made.

Loved the activities that were arranged - the long table dinner in the olive grove; wine tasting and cooking. It allowed you to meet others which really added to the boutique and intimate nature of the accommodation. The staff were all lovely and so helpful. The accommodation was beautiful and the large pool amazing - lovely to come back to after a big day out. Breakfast food was delicious (breads etc baked on premises).
