Manley is a boutique wine estate where you get to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of a wine farm where you truly feel part of the family. Markus , the owner, is hands on and always takes time to welcome guests and engage with them. The rooms had everything we didn’t even think we needed like a phenomenal natural mozzy spray and a beach bag with sarongs and towels for the pool. My highlight was the fireplace in the room, perfect way to end the day with a bottle of Manley Red. On Sunday they had live music which is far away enough from the rooms to not disturb you but absolutely worth it parking off on the lawn whilst watching the stunning views and enjoying a bottle of Manley Red. You are 3 min from town so close enough yet far enough to feel like you on a distant blissful farm. I can highly recommend staying here. It’s safe , tranquil , perfect location and is run by the owner and his incredible staff.

I loved everything except the fact that my stay was too short and that the beautiful Manley range they have on sale did not include the fabulous mosquito spray. Hopefully on my next visit they would have added it to their sale items ( hint hint ) :-)

The room and bathroom are spacious, clean. The coffee machine super appreciated. and the fire place made this winter weekend experience very enjoyable and kept us warm. The restaurant menu, staff, personal attention and the food is super. The fact that the property has such high standard restaurant on the premises made is amazing. Highly recommended

Add value: in winter to have bathroom gowns available in the room please. Add value: the basin only had the hand lotion dispenser but no soap to wash hands since the shampoo / conditioner and the body wash containers were in the shower thus missed soap at basin (I always bring small soap with and used that at the basin to wash hands). Thank you to Markus and his teams on site. It was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the guest cottages! The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The setting is wonderfully peaceful, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle. The room was impeccably clean, reflecting the property’s commitment to quality. One of the highlights was the onsite restaurant – the pizzas were fantastic! Each meal was a treat, and it was so convenient to have such high-quality dining right on the property. Overall, a perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and great food.

Breakfast was excellent. You are given a choice of breakfast from eggs / bacon benedict, breakfast pizza, or full English breakfast. You also receive a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and a granola yogurt. Accommodation was excellent, clean shower, AC, comfortable bed and a gorgeous swimming pool with braai facilities awaited us. Centrally located and less than 3kkms from all the popular wine farms. Also enjoyed an excellent wine tasting from the knowledgeable Stephan.

The wait for dinner and breakfast took some time but the menu does state that all the dishes are freshly made.

The breakfast was very good. The orange juice was excellent. The games at the restaurant was also nice fun. The rooms were very need and of a high standard. Beautiful views on the mountains. We also enjoyed the two owl chickens in the garden/tree close to the braai. The braai area was also great facility.

The self catering unit need some upgrades. The kitchen facility is very small and a traffic congestion. The air conditioner works perfect for the main room but the loft room remained very hot/uncomfortable. I recommend to install a 2nd air conditioner in the loft room.

Tranquil little estate, carefully restored over the past few years by the new German owner. Not fancy, but very good value for money. Spotless facilities and excellent breakfast. Nice bathroom products. Must be cozy in winter with the wood burning fireplace in the room. Mondays their restaurant is closed so we ate at the Tulbagh Hotel, a very short drive, great dinner. They do weddings at the Estate...the chapel is charming and I think it would be a lovely private setting for a smaller intimate family and friends affair. Very picturesque and peaceful.

Small pool. Good for a dip but not really a swim. Was fine for us but may matter to others.

The location was superb providing a relaxed and comfortable stay amongst the vineyards and mountains. Just like Tuscany in Italy! The staff were most friendly and helpful. The wine maker treated us to a most interesting tour of the facility and gave us a very informative talk on the wine making process. Most appreciated.

Previously we took the B & B option, this time around we opted to stay in the self-catering unit. The kitchen could have done with a microwave with an oven function or air fryer ...but that is nit-picking as I would get :)

We had a really lovely stay, the room was very nice but a little bit dark, the light in the the room was a little awkward to get ready, we had to have the curtains closed when getting dressed as the were no nets, so a little more light would have been great. The breakfast and service lovely, staff very nice and friendly.

Sorry the above mentioned light in room. Also although we had enough little packets initially in our room we did use those on the first night, it would have been nice to have the milk and rusks replaced as it was a lovely touch & comforting, so just that really, plus a bigger cup to use for morning coffee would be ideal. Thanks for the stay.

We we a group of 4 middle aged gents from Denmark with a wine interest visiting Western Cape Manley flexibly accommodated our interest and the management and wine master generously availed their scarce time to us and and provided us with an insight beyond our expectations. We highly appreciate that. The place moreover is spacious and allowed us to both withdraw in privacy and meet up with other guests. The kitchen staff was great showing flexibility in meeting our wishes to combine things from the menu. We had a wonderful couple of nights at Manley.
