The location is perfect if you like to be close to Soho and Tribeca. Our skyline king room was good size even for 3 guests and the bed was very comfortable. Pool area was lovely. All of the staff were excellent . Overall it’s a great hotel in a nice area of the city close to subway station and nice restaurants.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff

We were surprised that the windows weren’t better sound proofed. It was the only minus in this hotel. But if you are a light sleeper it’s a big one.

Good location for Downtown. Well maintained. Upper rooms have good views .

I don’t like all the add ons like the destination tax. You can get $50 dollars off a spa treatment but they were fully booked during our stay. The tax is $51 per person per day and you get very very little for it!

New York has always been a go to destination for me, which I've wanted to go to for years. 2024 was the year I decided to go, for New Years Eve. My partner found The Dominick hotel and talked about it's location and how it's highly rated. After a bit of research of the area, and seeing the amazing photos online, I decided to go for it and reserve a room for my once in a lifetime visit. Upon reserving it I was able to send a message regarding any special request, and I mentioned how I was celebrating an anniversary between my partner and I, for which they 'made a note' of at the time. Come to the time of the trip away, we arrive late in the evening and the staff were incredibly welcoming and pleasant, and they mentioned that due to our anniversary that they were able to upgrade our room. We went to our room, on the 36th floor, and from opening the door and as we walked in we were pretty wowed. The room was spacious, clean, modern and all of the things you'd expect from a hotel. There was a little note on the side wishing us a happy anniversary. We opened the curtains which covered the floor to ceiling windows and, unfortunately, it was incredibly foggy outside so visibility wasn't great... ...however, come the morning where, due to jetlag, we are both up before the sunrise I was taken aback and simply stunned from the view - looking out across the financial district, the Hudson river to one side - met with the empowering view of the World Trade Centre - following the window to the left we were then also able to see towards the quintessential skyline, the empire state building, the Chrysler building, etc. The nights we stayed there the view did not get boring or old - it took my breath away every single time I was able to gaze upon it - my partner and I would even pull up a chair of an evening, or morning, and just sit at the window and watch the world go by before or after our busy days. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I'd struggle to say what I didn't like as I got exactly what I was expecting, and more. The only thing I would be able to find fault with was room service - not the service at all - but the food standard and price. I will caveat this with that it was New Years Eve, so I'm sure service may not have been to it's normal standard - however I ordered a steak and my partner had a Spaghetti Bolognese. The food was nice - but it was just 'nice', for the price I would have expected something a little better. But, as I say, I accept it was New Years Eve - and this is only a small criticism I could find if I had to nit pick. Otherwise the hotel was simply amazing.

Room was a studio room with lush contemporary furnishings; set up and spacial design were well done, the view was fantastic. The service was great, beds super comfy, and the room quiet, as requested. Great upstairs lounge. Great staff at all levels.

Unfortunately, the sofa should and could have been a pull-out for our kid, given the room charge, and the extra charge for an extra bed would've been $100 so we had her sleep on it as a sofa. That said, staff made it up nicely. Also, no bar, restaurant was closed without prior notice too, annoyingly, as we planned to arrive for dinner there during a typical holiday time. Amenities were minimal but fine.

Perhaps the best views in all of Manhattan. Modern tall skyscraper with floor to ceiling 180 degree views out of many rooms, including ours in many directions. Simply breathtaking, exceptional and a real treat to see the city in that way out of the comfort of our room. The rooms were nice and a good size especially for Manhattan and the gym was also very very nice - but the views were just superb. Very special.

Everything was exceptional or great. If I had to nit pick, the complimentary coffee quality was not on par with the rest of the hotel. That said, most hotels of this sort do not offer complimentary coffee. My only suggestion to management would be to upgrade the complimentary coffee so that it matched the excellence of the rest of the hotel.

The hotel is located at the perfect area for tourists who wish to avoid the crowded areas of times`s spuare and 5th avenue but at the same time can enjoy the amazing area of Soho. The rooms were spacious with amazing views of the river.

I believe that food needs a bit of an upgrade and the provision of more optios for the guests with different style kitchen. For such a hotel I do believe that the provision of 24H room service is a must

The location was excellent. You were right in the heart of Soho with loads of restaurants and shops. The doorman was knowledgeable and helped us choose between a taxi and an Uber to Newark Airport. Their restaurant recommendations were also good. The view from the room was very nice, and the room had lots of light. The bathroom had lovely amenities (including slippers and bathrobes). The rain shower was perfect and the bathroom had a nice bathtub.

The only thing I would change is the beds. I found them too soft and not your typical USA hotel beds.

The location was perfect for visiting areas like Soho, The Village, and even the East Village. We spent most of our time within walking distance to the hotel, where there are lots of great restaurants, bars, comedy clubs, jazz bars, and shopping. There was a subway station close to the hotel so you could easily access the city by subway if walking isn't your preferred mode of transport. Staff were very friendly. They allowed us to stow our bags after check-out and when we returned later, we were able to sit in the lobby whilst we waited for our driver. The best part of our stay was the complimentary upgrade when we checked in. It was unexpected and we went from a king room to a suite! It was huge, with a good view. The hotel was a great place to stay for our vacation. We would absolutely return, and I would highly recommend The Dominick.

No complaints.
