A gorgeous hotel just a few minutes from the centre. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pool was lovely to dunk into on a hot day, used it more than we thought because of the jellyfish in the sea.

We had a few minor issues with our stay that were solved really quickly by the team with power outlets. Would have been nice to have a daily turnover or clean because the bathroom got really wet and sandy and it was unpleasant after a few days of staying there. It would have also been nice to have a bit more storage shelves or areas in the room. Because we were on a shared balcony the other room were in constant use of the drying rack so our clothes wouldn’t dry - if it’s shared it would be nice to have two racks. All just really minor things but would help the enjoyment of the stay!

More than the comfortable rooms and well-maintained facilities, it was the entire staff of Parrots Boutique Resort who truly made our stay relaxing and remarkable. We visited Port Barton during the rainy season, which meant rough roads and tough trails. We weren't even able to complete both our in-land and inter-island tours due to the unpredictable weather. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Parrots. The staff were very attentive and responsive—they assisted us in renting a motorcycle to explore Port Barton and thoughtfully asked in advance about our complimentary breakfast and the time we preferred to have it served. I also appreciated that we could freely enjoy the pool until 10pm. What made it even better was that the pool uses a mix of salt and fresh water, keeping it naturally warm—a perfect contrast to the cold, rainy days when we were at Port Barton. Overall, our stay at Parrots was fun and refreshing. We will definitely be back there in the future. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit Port Barton.

The resort leans toward the higher end of the price range. However, I still recommend it to other travelers who want to relax and splurge a bit more.

Parrots was amazing, we absolutely loved our stay there!! It was in a great location, easy to get to everywhere you wanted with a short walk, the staff were amazing and so friendly, always eager to help. The food options were great there, we had breakfast included every morning at the time that suited us and there were a good amount of options. We also ate lunch there one day and the food was really good and food portions were big! The room is lovely with eveything you need and feels very clean. We also loved the pool area on days where we just wanted an easy space to chill - it got lots of sun and the sunbeds were comfy! I honestly think this is the best place to stay in Port Barton and would recommend it to everyone!

The pool area is well-maintained and offers a great spot to unwind. One of the standout features was the reliable Wi-Fi connection, which was a lifesaver since my girlfriend had to work remotely for a few days. The resort's attention to detail in ensuring a seamless experience for guests is truly commendable. We loved every minute at Parrots Boutique Resort. Some days, we would have a delightful breakfast and then spend the entire day by the pool, enjoying the resort's amenities. It was the perfect getaway, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We will definitely be returning! As Port Barton is a small town, this place is very nice of you are looking for a higher end place. They had staff is great and let us store our wine in the fridge. Breakfast every morning is served at your private balcony and you choose your meal and time. The pool was amazing and rooms nice. Walking distance to everything in the town and only 5 minutes to the beach.

One thing to note is the property is next to a rooster which likes to make noises every morning at 5am. It is not the hotels fault and there are ALOT of rooster is the city so I assume this is a common problem with other hotels. However it did result is us not being able to sleep in. Still I would recommend staying here as the hotel is great for couples.

Great atmosphere with a very pleasant and beautiful vibe. Nice pool The hotel is lovely, with exceptional architecture. The staff were very kind and always helpful. This was the nicest and most charming hotel we stayed at in the Philippines. We would gladly return again, though it would be great if the points mentioned below could be improved.

Every morning at 6 AM, a rooster right next to the hotel would wake us up. Since there are many roosters in Port Barton, I understand it might be difficult to find accommodation where this isn’t an issue, but this one was directly under our window, making it especially disruptive. During our last two nights, a house dog was present at the hotel and barked at arriving guests. Please consider addressing this situation. The breakfast portions could also be larger, especially since the add-ons are priced at restaurant levels. The laundry is way overpriced, but very quick. The last 50 meters to the hotel can only be accessed via a dirt road, which becomes very muddy during the rainy season. Hopefully, this section can be paved in the future.

The "included"Breakfast was limited but good. It was suffient for us and it was good not to gauge ourselves on a buffet. You could order additional fruit, etc if you chose to. They could perhaps offer a few more options within the "included". The staff were wonderful and very responsive prior to our arrival and on-site. The design of the property is Greek inspired with clean / fresh lines. Lovely boutique friendly property. The pool was good to have. Just need to keep on top of the cleaning. I think it has a lot of clorine in when we arrived and you couldn't see the bottom for a few days. We loved this place as it was so warm, friendly and like home.

Noise from the hostel next door. Aircon didn't work in 1 of our rooms. They took the plug out of the wall and plugged back in and it worked for a little while. They were quick to replace this for the next guests.

Rooms are nice and new. Very close to the beach, but located in a quiet location. Extra services are highly recommended (food, drinks in good prices, laundry, and scooter rental). We really enjoyed the pool and beautiful garden. Staff is friendly

Because they ask you to not flash the toilet paper in a toilet, it should be cleaned at least every day. However, that was not the case. It was cleaned upon our request what I didn’t like. Breakfast is very basic. Lastly, that was the only place where beach towels were not provided free of charge.

Parrots was great. Super friendly and very welcoming. Staff helped book motorbike and sorted our transport to our next location. Room was very clean, pool area was lovely. Kitchen area was great, with an "honesty box" style approach. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to the room each day. Aircon was very good. Any issues we reported were sorted straight away. Would go back for sure.

50metre road to the hotel was a bit bumpy and muddy but wasn't an issue, mainly due to the rain we experienced when we were there.

Spotlessly clean resort with beautiful design. Breakfast was great and served outside your room on a private terrace each morning. Great pool. Location was about a 5 minute walk from the beach but lots of little shops and restaurants along the way (you might need a torch at night). Lovely cafe/restaurant Fat Cat 2 mins away. Couldn't recommend this place more, a little bit of heaven in Port Baryon.

The location initially daunted us a little, but really it's just a 5 minute walk.
