Grounds are fantastic Location is good 99% of staff very pleasant

When it comes to getting a sun bed it’s like Europe by 6/7am every location is reserved by either butlers or people leaving towels and odd items they bring on purpose it’s ridiculous staff don’t care about this and do nothing to help people by removing unused towels after a certain time etc can be very frustrating..u can watch some beds not be used all day because people wake up at silly o clock and place stuff by all pools/beach then decide where they want to go, very selfish. some rooms very dated and need TLC

The location and the beach

Some staffs in bar (swimming pool sandals Barbados, beach bar and bar next to Spices restaurant are very unfriendly. We can feel, we are bothering them. Hotel should send some mystery customers. Worst is the jet ski guy who kick people away from the sea or beach to promote/ serve his customers !! He is rude and not even staff of the hotel … we paid to enjoy the seafront not to hear horrible noise of his machine and be treated like this… By 6:45 AM, EVERYDAY, 95% of the sun beds on the beach are already “ booked” by towels, books and other private items… some people only showed up by lunch time :( Hotel has a beach beds policy but don’t respect it, same for people smoking on the beach, and hide their cigarette butts in the sand 😕 : nobody cares

Sandals Barbados was absolutely phenomenal for a mom & daughter trip. We enjoyed all that they had to offer & appreciate how it never felt too crowded. There were so many pool options to choose from and the evening entertainment was wonderful. All of the staff were extremely friendly- Darren was superb for helping us accommodate the best dinner plans and locate the hidden restaurants we couldn’t find. Tasha, one of our servers, spoke with a Bartender to make me a delicious mocktail. Dario, our photographer was a wonderful vibrant person that also helped us make our final choices (there’s so much to choose from). We can’t thank you enough- we will surely be back!

Waiting for food took a bit long on occasion. But it was always worth the wait!

The resort is beautiful and we liked the range of restaurants, the various pools and different entertainment options every night. We loved Neptune's and Portofino's restaurants

The staff are hit or miss. Some are lovely and welcoming, others ignore you and would rather be somewhere else. The reservation system for restaurants is ridiculous. It doesn't work. We had two reservations which disappeared when we actually arrived to be seated. Service in the restaurants was generally very slow and a bit chaotic.

There were so many different restaurants to choose from and therefore it never became 'samey' The choice and quality of food was excellent, healthy and fresh - the team did a great job and the service was excellent.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like - the staff were exceptional, happy and made the experience. The choice of pools, beach, places to sit and relax, eat, drink and just be was amazing. The effect of the holiday has remained with us going back into reality..which speaks volumes. Still living on the memories!

I went on holiday with my friend and we had such wonderful stay at Sandals. It was even better than we expected. The main thing for us was how good the service was- everywhere we went the staff were so friendly and helpful :) Coming from London I am a little fussy when it comes to food but everything was fresh and so good with plenty of options. Both resorts were next to each other giving ample space to walk around, explore with plenty of bar/ restaurant options. Susan in particular was fab who served us a few times at Neptunes and the french restaurant. We also loved the sky bar and had some very fun evenings with excellent cocktails made my Shaquile and Larkan- who also provided plenty of entertainment!

Sometimes it was a little hard to find a sunbed by the infinity pool and had to wake up early to be able to get one. Also thought that Schooners restaurant should be option as a lunch option too as it is a beach side restaurant with very good fish options- we had dinner here twice as we really enjoyed it but would have been nice during the day time too. Sky bar needs to have music in the evenings and entertainment in the evenings could be better- main stage could have better live shows.

In line with expectations

The arrogance of some of your butlers - i experienced one of your butlers interrupting a bar tender taking an order from another guest with the expectation that he would stop what he was doing to deal with 'his' guests - unacceptable. Other issue, there is a 2 hour rule on reserving sun beds, however this didn't apply to those beds reserved by butlers- we witnessed sunbeds in prime positions being reserved all day with no shows. I made the decision this time to fly business over upgrading my stay to club/butler with the expectation that high standards were available to all guests. This is not the case - felt under valued as standard guests which was unexpected. But on the other hand the additional cost for club/butler rooms was too big a gap from standard.

Restaurants and Food are extremely good as are the pools and facilities. 80 per cent of staff were exceptional the rest not so accommodating and about 10 per cent unfriendly

It is an all inclusive resort therefore you get the service they want to give you but not so helpful with anything extra like a reading. Lamp or cushions around one of the pools we asked for but never got. There were a number of things that didn’t work and when we asked for repairs they were done later or not at all eg a leaking toilet a leaking fridge a bathroom door that was not properly attached. We had to check in twice register credit cards twice which never worked and confirm flight times 2 or 3 times as their computer system seemed to have glitches Such a pity as these are all small things but made the experience not what it was the last time we were there

Gorgeous property with something for everyone - party pools, quiet pools, plenty of bar and food options. Whilst full, it never felt crowded especially in the evenings

Great location, beach is incredible! Hotel is clean and tidy.

Quite a few facilities not working properly…unable to get a coffee most days (other than a black one)….some staff need to work on customer service - remember that you’ve paid a lot of money to be there and they’re not doing you a favour!
