Right in the centre of Westendorf but not noisy. Very clean throughout and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, there was free parking and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Room was very nice and clean. That was really the only positive.

Party music from a bar across the road until 2am with people shouting and singing inappropriate songs in the street. The hotel had several complaints about this but the owner said “we are in the centre of a lively village so this is to be expected”. After a few hours sleep I went for breakfast and entered a breakfast room that was full of dirty dishes and not a lot else. Most of the breakfast bar was empty. No staff available who kept an eye or tidied up and refilled. All the glasses had gone too and I had to find my own. I went to the reception area to complain and explained that I am not willing to stay a second night as planned, which was refunded, but they still charged me €90 for a noisy room, a dirty breakfast room and an empty breakfast buffet! Total shambles. Every youth hostal would have been better. Also, for those travelling by train, Westendorf station is not in Westendorf itself but in the neighbour village, the hotel is probably 1 mile walk away from station.
