Our second time visiting this wonderful hotel! The breakfast was outstanding and an absolute treat. We were half board and also loved the evening meals - all very fresh and healthy! The beds were very comfortable and the pool was lovely! We will definitely be back!

On Friday night neither of our rooms had hot water in the shower at 6pm - which was a shame. I’m not sure if this was because of sudden adverse weather conditions or because of a large number of conference guests all trying to shower at the same time. We didn’t complain - there had be non-stop rain and far cooler outside temperature than expected for the time of year. Probably a one off as it was fine at all other times.

Amazing location in the middle of town with very spacious rooms, and lovely facilities. For a skier or snowboarder I could see coming off the mountain after a long day and enjoying a swim in the heated pool, or taking a sauna to ease the aching legs. Not only is the hotel lovely but the town is small and walkable with limited but good selection of restaurants. The hotel is basically 1min from the gondola giving you access to the immense ski/snowboarding area that is the Skiwelt.

Nothing it was lovely

The hotel is fantastic - a very spacious room with a nice design. The SPA is fantastic with 3 types of saunas (Finland, bio, and infrared) and steambath, as well as a very nice pool with warm water. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy all the facilities as I was pregnant but my husband really liked them. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of healthy options - I think that this was one of the best hotel breakfasts I had.

Fantastic facilities for relaxing after skiing in sauna and pool. Not crowded. The aesthetics and spaces were beautiful with lovely views. The ski lift, ski school and ski rental are just across the road from the entrance.

I couldn’t find any fault.

The hotel, its facilities and location are great, I especially liked the interior design, the comfortable rooms and the wellness area. Cleanliness and maintenance are excellent too.

I was at Sportresort Hohe Salve 3 times in the last years and must say that although the dinner menu is good, in 2023 it was not as great as in the years before. Professionality and friendliness of the staff have declined as well. With these points resolved, it would be a perfect hotel.

It has the best breakfast selection I’ve seen and I’m a seasoned traveller! The evening meal was also excellent with so much to select and great service. Love the general vibe of the place- relaxed yet set up for activity and wellness. Great pools, sauna and facilities. We’ll be back!

This is the second time we stayed at the hotel and simply love it. The location, facilities and food are all great.

We just wished that the staff at the restaurant was more friendly, welcoming, up for a little chat. They work hard but loose sight of the social aspect.

- Drinks at the bar are not even close to be good - Food at dinner wasn‘t good every evening - Dinner was half buffet
