I stayed a wonderful 7 nights in this historical ,traditional hotel in charming Old Town. A sign on the building reads, " 3*** " but unquestionably this is a solid 4-star hotel. Huge bathroom with tub,modern bath fixtures and plenty of hot water.Large bedroom,comfortable bed.Pleasant front desk staff,always on duty. It's a one -minute walk around the corner to the compact main square of town. One can easily walk to the major ski gondola,and in 10 minutes, to the train station. The hotel's restaurant served excellent lunches and dinners . The included breakfast offered many healthful options including home-made fresh fruit cocktail,freshly-baked multi-grain breads ,plant based milk,nuts/seeds, etc. Consistently strong WiFi signal. Days after snowfall the town is storybook charming.

This has been a problem for me in all the hotels in Tyrol that are within the Old Towns: I cannot sleep with a window open due to night time traffic noise.There is very little traffic but that only means it's even more jarring when a car drives by the hotel. Not the hotel's fault. With windows closed the room is whisper quiet.

This Classic hotel right in the heart of Kitzbuhel did not disappoint. With large double rooms, nicely warmed, and a classic buffet breakfast there was little more to desire. The ski bus was 3 minutes walk, but the Hannenkahmbahn was only 10 mins walk, easy enough if you are using lockers up there. The Kitzbuheler Horn was even closer albeit up a steep road, but the snow parks up there are fun and the snow seemed better when conditions were poor in the rest of the resort. Dinner in the hotel was lovely, but the menu was a bit limited. We ate there 3 nights out if 7 and that was enough. The guests if not room guests were smartly dressed well to do Austrian types and it feels like the hotel is a destination for local regulars.

The hotel looks like its been there for centuries, but its very well kept and the decor and furnishings are great. Unfortunately there is no sauna, but i reckon the could squeeze one in on the lower floor, so that's disappointing. They still do old fashioned touches like vanity sets, but a double sink for couples is nice and there's loads of wardrobe space for a long stay.

Hotel is really amazing, front hotel design, the interior inside the hotel keeps the history of city, Austria itself as well as wall decoration. Room was big, we were family of 3 person and there were quite a lot space. Balcony view is on the mountains, that’s indeed great, every morning you can start looking to the mountains beauty. City center is so close, I think less then 5 min. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Ski storage is easy to rech via lift Highly recommend this hotel and wish to return next year

A bit narrow road to parking. You should be good driver to squeeze to narrow drive in

The property is in a great location. It has parking at the rear of the property. The Wi-Fi works great. It has a nice breakfast. It has a lift so you don’t have to drag your suitcases upstairs. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The rooms are a good size as well. The restaurant has a great menu for dinner. Very convenient.

We usually wake up early and we wish there was a kettle in the room so we could make some coffee. But there is a small coffee shop about 100 m from the hotel that opens at 6 am. Also the walls are a little bit thin, allowing noise to come through from adjacent rooms.

The Eggerwirt Kitzbuhel was absolutely fantastic and the service was unbeatable! The hotel itself is so charming and right in the heart of the historic center. It's a five minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. The views of the snowy mountains from my room were stunning, especially the pink sunrise each morning. My room was big and I asked for one with a bathtub. Loved taking a bath each night. Most importantly, it's a family-run hotel and everyone is so nice, helpful and went beyond to make my stay so special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an authentic Austrian stay in Kitzbuhel!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, Although the restaurant, that we were looking forward to spend the evening at, was closed. But the recommendation to visit the Hutschpferd up the road was an excellent alternative.

The entrance with the double doors and staircase was a challenge with heavy suitcases and physical problems with back and knee problems. Maybe the should be mentioned, that people with some physical problems can prepare accordingly.

A lovely hotel conveniently located in the old town of Kitzbuhel. The ski bus was just around the corner making it very easy to get to the Gondola. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. The restaurant was also fabulous. I would definitely stay again.

Friendly service, hotel had lovely character and traditional feel. The food was great and we had a beautiful room with a balcony with views over the mountains. The location was perfect for the ski slopes and restaurants. Great stay and would go back again!

It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, however the restaurant downstairs was great so there is an option for room service.

Amazing stay at Eggerwirt. It was a perfect location for a few days of skiing. The walk to the gondola is 10 mins or less down the beautiful main streets. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us tips for skiing. The restaurant was excellent, including the breakfast. I highly recommend this stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Spacious room and bathroom with excellent shower. Delicious breakfast. Nice loaner umbrellas in each room if needed. Perfect location in the center of town but not right on the square. There was a festival going on and a hotel on the square that we almost chose had a band stage directly in front of it that played into the night. We were glad we could easily walk over to the festival but then head back a block or two to a quieter location. We would also recommend their restaurant.
